I wish I could remember where I read it, but I read that they start to spawn with the Winter Festival. Fingers crossed. Hoping to see a spawn today.

Edit: No spawn. Guess the 21st it is. :(

OMG. It's so adorable. I can't wait to level this little one. Seriously, apperance wise one of my favorite pets yet.

I've been looking for this pet for weeks. I finally read the comments and started clearing everything. After about 2 hours, I saw 1 poor quality H/P minfernal. I captured it to be safe. It was the only one I ended up seeing. I stayed for a good hour killing stuff after, hoping for a rare. I gave up and used a flawless battle stone on it. Glad I did. Love this pet. 

I suggest taking 2 25's and a carry. I barely captured it. Found it inside the cavern, next to the Keepers of Time Quartermaster. Rare. 

Caught rare as a secondary to a desert spider north of Gadgetzan. 

Found as the primary - uncommon. Found in Crushridge with the ogres. Can confirm digging as well.
