Infinite Whelpling

I got a rare my first try outside the Caverns of Time at 12:00 a.m. server time. Definitely going to use this.

Just caught my rare at around 2:44 AM EST on Moon Guard. There were a bunch hanging out just outside the Caverns of Time entrance, and even more inside.

Accidentally killed the first rare I found, then after numerous pet battles I finally found another. On my way out more had spawned so apparently they respawn pretty quickly around this time of day.

Had been looking for one of these for a few days and randomly logged in today and there were about 6 above and in the Caverns of Time. Got a rare and then an uncommon one.

I saw the pawprint while trying to find the opening to the cave. Found him and he was rare! Captured at 8:15pm Zangarmarsh server time [11:15pm EST] at 41.5 27.3 inside the cave. Beginner's luck? This was my first time seaarching with no other players in this particular part of the map. Good luck to everyone else!

Just caught a poor one on Nesingwary at 9:50pm server, in the tunnel midway to the main caverns. I had a target macro that was able to spot it from outside.

I use my alts on a low population server to farm this- there are more outside the caverns than inside, I parked her there and would sign on when I have time and got one without too much trouble.  I really like this pet!

I managed to find this little guy just outside of the Cavern of Times, according to the minimap, I was still in Tanaris. Fortunately it happened to be a rare.

Aquired three of these at 4:30am server time. One green and two poor.

In the afternoon hrs on Saturdy on an Oceanic server there a bunch of these. Most were outside the entrance, 3 were inside on the pathways. Grabbed 2 uncommons, never saw a rare. Respawns were fast, but stopped spawning after awhile.

I got it around 2:35am st, right outside of the cavern's enterance. First time looking for it too! What luck! ^.^

Woot! Got this little baby at 4:29 server time :D I had encountered 1 at about noon that was grey but had a rare desert spider with it, I ended up killing them both! *cry* I flew around forever looking for another and there were none.  I ended up trying again and finally found a few, only had to kill 2 to get the rare. Yay! 

Found one today by the vendors in COT at about 1:15pm server time. It was poor quality, but I used my Flawless Dragonkin Battle-Stone on it.

I've been wanting an Infinite Whelpling since BC - so happy to finally have one!

Managed to catch a rare after a lot of farming in the pathway down to the main area of the CoT.

It's funny, straight after the battle my character died. Nothing attacked her or anything... I guess she had a stroke from all the excitement.

just caught an uncommon one at 1915 server time on blackwater raiders...it was in the horse shoe shaped rock area just before the enterance of the cavern

I'm very excited because I just caught this one... I flew into CoT and found nothing... then on my way out I headed to the summoning stone and went to the right to sit on the pillar there and wait it out... well the second I went that direction I saw some paw prints on the map!! Yay!! :)

I came back the next day and managed to find 5-6 spawns outside of the Cave entrance and as far out as the hills where "Occulus" usually spawns. I even managed to get a Rare in front of the cave.

Amusingly enough, while trying to fight a few respawned Infinite Whelplings, the Server Restart countdown began, and I was unable to form a battle pet scenario with any of them.  I had...*dons sunglasses*....Run Out Of Time.

Been checking around the area a few times over the last couple of days, today I got bored of flying around inside and went to fly out into tanaris when bam there was the whelp - like someone said earlier it was technically in tanaris not COT as it was on the tanaris side of the moutain range.

Poor quality one but I captured it anyway as it will do for now :)

I am almost 100% that when I engaged a rare of these today my addon that tells the breed said it was something else BESIDES a P/P, which is what he turned out to be after I caught him. P/P (two points in power) is breed 4 as far as I remember. Just maybe my addon messed up or maybe at least it's worth noting that you should capture it and see what breed it turns out to be.
