Minfernal

After spending hours camping for this pet, I finally picked it up around 10.30am GMT. I headed over to the area after picking up some other pets, and lucked out . Only one of them.had spawned, and I was incredibly lucky for it to be a rare! I'm afraid I didn't use any special tactics, but was more 'right place right time' :)

FINALLY! Got my minfernal tonight around 9:30pm EST. I had read about the Flight Path method, and my hubby finally decided to give it a try, and he was able to target from the flight path. So I hopped on with my target macro, and my interact with target key bind, I went to Irontree Clearing from Orgrimmar and the path flew low enough that I was able to both target, and interact, with the minfernal. It was only a poor quality, but at least I have it! Org to Whisperwind the path was too high.

IMO, Blizzard really dropped the ball on this one. I understand rarespawns, but the only way I ever *see* a Minfernal is to take the FP, and I have yet to battle one. They give us two achievements that hinge on this pet, and make it impossible to find. If they insist on their ridiculous CRZ, they should up the spawn rate from .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 1% on the zone next to Felwood and 0% in the actual zone.

FINALLY!  I've been logging in several times a day with an alt withoug ever even seeing a single one of these things.  What I did see was a lot of other people doing the same thing.

Until 1:30am server time last night when I happened to log in before heading to bed.  There was no one there and there was one.single.Minfernal.

Poor quality but I'll take it.

Finally!!! Camped this pet for months, logging at all different times, and getting thoroughly annoyed that I hadn't seen a single one (minus one owned by someone)

Logged today and found ONE, poor condition, wandering the upper level of Shatter scar vale, towards the big quest mob.

I was starting to lose faith in ever finding one of these! For those interested my server is Vek'nilash, and it was 19:25 server time.

All those that still need this pet, keep camping it'll pay off eventually!!

Just spent 3 hours camped waiting, and had one spawn at map location 43.8, 41.1 at 2:34 server. Rare

Tried the flight-path method today right after server-restart.  There were none up.  Usually, there are several, but none within reach of the flight-path.

Was just casually strolling along not really looking for anything in particular, checked my mini map to find there's a mini-infernal running about! Didn't realise they were so rare.. so anyway go to fight him and he's rare quality!! 

Got my rare today here is what i did i had alts on differents realms i parked one char from each realm i had chars on and logged in early in the morning when i could i got a few uncommen before luck shined on me :)

FINALLY! I have tried every method possible to get this guy.  I had been re-trying the flight path method this morning, unsuccessfully, so went back and there was Immolatus.  I killed him (again) but this time stuck around and kept killing infernals and critters around where he was and a poor Minfernal popped up!!  Keep at it, it is all about luck with this one.  No one method seems to work for everyone, so try them all!!!  Good luck guys!  

I've tried the flight path method without any luck, so decided to change my strategy. I've parked an alt at the spot and checked 2-3 times a day for the last two weeks. I've got 1 poor, 2 common, 1 uncommon and finally a rare. Every sightings happened in the morning.

Thgis guy is all about luck, he is as rare as the long lost DoDo. I was trying for about 12-14 hours yesterday with absolutely no luck. came back after my dinner, and i saw one ...omg i thought.. just as i went down to grab someone else beat me by half a sec. Was i annoyed. Today i woke logged on was parked there, Thought see wats around.. and there he was right next to me.. so i got it.. I also tried tht flight path and interact aas well for hours.. never had any joy there...but some have so gl.

Thank you so much for the flight path advice!!!  After 12 trips I got an uncommon minfernal!!! WOOT!!!  BTW, the northern most and southernmost edges of scattered vale are where the flight will dip down low enough to interact.  The middle area is too high up.  Good luck!!! 

Finally got one (poor qual.) last night!! Never spent more than an hour at a time looking for it but spent about two weeks non stop. Found it in the Northen Part of the area, away from the lava/fellfire pits.

Glad I don't have to look for it.

Now just waiting for a magic pet stone to drop and summer to arrive!

Ow Finaly tonight i did catch one,  raid was wipe after wipe and i thought i login in alt to see the place and the second i come online  there is one and i battle and then i got scared i had strong pets so i hope i not kill it,, i have my green minfernal :) think it took me 4 months, bevore i saw my first one and did catch it. only 2 pets to go then i have them all  from the continents:) wish u peeps all same luck as i had 

I tried to find this pet about a week ago with no luck. Battled other pets in the area to see if one would spawn and it didn't happen so I kind of gave up. Today I logged on and decided to go take a look, and to my delight there was one! (11:15am server time on Azralon). It was poor quality but I hope to get a stone to upgrade it soon. 

I FINALLY got this guy when I went over to a Brazilian server I had a DK on farming the area. He was a poor but I wasn't complaining when I caught him! Strange thing was it was the only 1 in the area and I had just happened to log over at the right moment it spawned (and no other farmers). Later that day I went to level other pets and got a BATTLE STONE! Talk about it being my lucky day! Used that bad boy on my Minfernal so fast I think I felt my eyes spin LOL. <3 this guy!

I tried the flight path approach to get the Minfernal it worked. Took me a couple attempts to target one close enough but its alot easier than spending hours/weeks waiting for a "possible" spawn.

Tried flight path approach many times but never saw a single one.  Flew from Winterspring, Moonglade, Ashenvale, within Felwood, started in Felwood ended outside, started outside ended inside Felwood; never saw any Minfernals. Maybe just unlucky. Tried flight path again today and saw one close enough to /tar but not interact with.  Decided to fly back myself and it was there so it wasn't because of the flight path trick.  Snagged my Minfernal poor quality but breed 4 so I am done with this one.

Since I see a lot of 'I GOT MINE' and not a lot of tips on how to catch one here I figured I'd post this.

This post details a proven method that works in getting your minfernal using an 'interact with target' macro while on a flightpath. This insures you can get your own servers spawn without mucking about with CRZ bull.
