After testing many pet dailies in 6.0 I've decided that the tweaks to Crush end up as an extremely minor nerf if that.  The extra turn or two it may take to bring down enemy pets ends up basically same as the misses you'd encounter with the old 70% hit chance (with Sandstorm up).  This is still an amazing pet and absolutely essential to every tamer.

The only way to improve this guy is have demolish at 75% instead of 50%. Great defensive skills. When demolish does hit the battle is over.

They tweaked his Crush ability a bit in 6.0. The hit rate base is up to 100%, and it now does a range of damage rather than a set amount. Overall it'll probably end up being a very minor nerf and this will still be a top5 battle pet.

Also, I highly suspect there's an error in the mechanics of Crush. It's still missing at an astronomically high rate with standstorm up compared to the claimed 90% hit rate. I suspect the hit rate flavor text was updated, but the actual data is still at 80% base.

Had to pick up mine on the AH.  I am a very slow gold maker, and unually have less than 1000 gold, but it just so happens I had completed the trainers quest which gives 3000 gold reward.  As a treat, I bought myself on for 990g.  Then a week later I read they nerfed the attack damage.  Sigh.

I named mine Choke Artist, because the one thing he's good at is missing attacks at the worst times, and I don't even use Demolish.

I bought him a couple of weeks back at AH for 900 gold.  The next cheapest one was listed at $1900.  He is by far, my best fighter.  He was beating level 20 pets when he was just level 11.  Very impressed with his look and his abilities.

This pet is very good. I use him in most Pandaria Trainer/Elemental fights. It might be slow with his miss rate, but as long as he doesn't have a chain of 3 misses on crush you usually always win. Many of the fights he is still doing well after he kills the first 2 pets. On a good RNG on crush he can solo some trainer fights.

VERY easy to beat IF you know what your doing you need i either A a pet with healing Magical Crawdad is what i do or B a pet with defence or able to stun you like  kun lai runt or C you fight fire with anubisath fire and hope you go first alot ALSO use crush, stoneskin, and rupture dont use demolish beacause it has low hit chance dont use sandstorm because it makes it harder for you to hit and dont use reflect because you cant hit them and they cant hit you so its like nothing even happend

Ever since he dropped of Vek'Lor, I have been in LOVE with this pet, I have a thing for Egyptian type stuff, named my first one, Anuksanamun (Mummy movie reference) and second one Hemotep (another, Mummy movie reference, lol) and he is awesome, this pet is a BEAST, the ultimate "panacea pet", he has a self-heal, crushing blows and a guard you can use every 3-5 turns, he's pretty bad ass.

The ones I use in Battle are Anubsiath Idol, Chrominius and Pocket Reaver.

I rarely lose, if ever.

On a whim, checked AH and saw a couple of these for 2Kg. Not a small fee, but for the pet rated second only to the Unborn Val'Kyr - and virtually impossible to farm without a group - I figured it was reasonable. I only used him in two battles so far, but he won me my rare Fluxfire Feline, and both will become my Thirds for their respective types once I get the core 15 levelled.

My One-set Strategies for Pandaren dailies:

Burning Spirit

-Against Crimson

(Sandstorm [1] on cooldown > spam Crush [2] > Reflective Shield [3] {on Lift-off})

-Against Pandaren Fire Spirit

(3 [before Conflagrate] > 1 on cooldown > spam 2)

-Against Glowey

(keep 1 up while leveling pet att. > spam 2)

Courageous Yon

• Leveling pet introduced while 1 is up during any stampede att.

-Against enemies

(keep 1 up / use 3 to evade Lift-off, Burrow / spam 2)

I've had mine for a while now, but he's been slaughtered too many times by pretty much any undead (not to mention the queen undead, Unborn Valkyr) that it's just not a reliable part of my core team.

I'm still happy I was able to name him Bubba HoTep though. Couldn't think of a better name.

Anubisath Idol: solos all three of Aki the Chosen's legedaries and doesn't even break a sweat. Sandstorm makes Chirrup a joke. Between deflection and crush, Stormlash bites it. Whiskers can be a pain, but sandstorm can chunk his health and deflection avoids his dive attack.

I've found that Anubisath Idol (along with maybe my Nexus Whelpling) is my most powerful pet. Even though Crush has  been nerfed to miss almost half of the time, it's almost irrelevant given how tanky this pet is.

Mobot, I hope you are right. IMO this pet (along with the Unborn Valkyr) has ruined PvP - at least for me. On my server, at least 50% of my opponents have one on their team. I saw one team that had two Anubisaths and an Unborn Valk!

Why did I bother grinding up 109 pets to lv 25 if half the PvP battles are going to have one or both of these pets?

It's gotten to the point where, when I see one of these overpowered pets on the opposing team I just abort the fight. It's sooo boring fighting these same pets over and over. And it's such a drag having to set up all my PvP teams to guard against them.

Part of the problem is that AIs have gotten really cheap on the AH. You can get one now for about 1100g. So you don't have to put in any thought toward making a good PvP team any more, you just buy one or two of these, level 'em up, and you're ready to kick butt.

So I am all for nerfing both of these pets as I think they do harm to the game the way they are now.

Make no mistake - this pet has been nerfed.  Two patches ago this thing started missing like crazy.  I have yet to hit better than 50% in any battle.  So it then comes down to hitting for 100 points average by the end of the battle.  It still says it hits for 80% - but as you will see for yourself - that is clearly not the case.  I thought it was just me but after asking several others - it's the same with everyone.  I cannot call this a top 20 anymore.

Very useful pet in PvE. Practically solos a couple of Pandaria Trainers, excellent for boosting low level pets.

Plan on doing PvP, be prepared to meet this guy. Why? Because its a solid, easy to use, hard hitter with small self heal and defensive moves. It hits like a truck with Demolish(even Crush hits hard). Sandstorm negates most DoTs and multiattacks.

Don't want to join them? I find that Blighthawks usually can do the job.

With high dps numbers nowadays it's easy to solo the twin emperors with some 90's normal/heroic gear dungeons. And since blizzard update the loot, sharing it (before you have to give at least one hit in the boss to get his loot), you can kill any of then and cross your fingers.
