Porcupette

So, I picked this little blue ball of spikes up as a reward from one of the battle masters.  At about lvl8 I named him Sonic.  At the time I didn't know about the secondary skills as they level and when I got him to 20, I found out about the "Powerball" ability :D  Ok, probably not the most intriging story, but I thought it was funny and ironic :P

I'm beginning to wonder if this one is broken or if Blizz have put some silent ninja lockout for this on my account... 169 days (5 1/2 MONTHS!!) of pet dailies, doing 2 or 3 pet daily battles every day and still nothing!!

My Porkki dropped from Lydia Accoste. Don't neglect the Old World tamers when you get to Pandaria! Try to station one of your characters at each Grand Master who has a chance to drop Porcupette. That would be Lydia Accoste, Stone Cold Trixie, Antari, Obalis, Major Payne (yes, he is that), and all the tamers in Pandaria.

I got Porcupette from Aki the Chosen near Shrine of Seven Stars just now at 345pm Zangarmarsh time, 545pm EDT. So happy!!!! I have been doing pet dailies [irregularly] for about a month. Good luck to all!

Got one from Major Payne this morning. Heading off to SW to demolish a few rats. 

Beginning to despair, when what should my wondering eyes should appear? Yup. Porky.

Trixxie in Winterspring very nicely gave me this today just in time for my birthday!!  What a nice present!  and to put the icing on the cake (birthday cake that is) while leveling him up a bit, a Humanoid stone and then two fights later a Critter stone dropped!  I love Trixxie!! 

So please she finally dropped!

I didn't even know this existed till I got it tonight! From Stone Cold Trixxy in Winterspring. I've been doing my pet dailies every day since the new year, so I'd say it took me around a month.

after tons of baggies, still no pet! 5 of each at least of the pandaren spirits, 30 stones, nothing, but lucky day! 100g on AH haha, now to keep grinding for my legit one and sell this one off =] good luck all!

Amazingly I received this in my 4th bag of Pet Supplies. So don't despair - you can get it sooner than you think!

Got mine on my third bag, frustratingly right after I said to my husband "I need to make sure I do these dailies, I want Porcupette and it's butthurt rare"....

I'll take the hit :P Porcupette is worth it! :D

After many, many, many... bags I got it finally today (Thanks Lydia Accoste!). It really took a long time. For everyone who isn't lucky till now, don't give up, it will show up :) Good Luck!

Got it from Analynn's [Sack of Pet Supplies] :D

Once you've beaten all the tamers (up to Aki the Chosen), you can only get Sack of Pet Supplies from the Pandaria tamers and from the Grand Master tamers on each continent, including Outland and Northrend. 

As for the Pandaren Spirit Tmers, I've only gotten the spirit pets from the Pandaren Spirit Pet Suplies. I'm not sure if they have a chance to drop Porcupette as well. Same goes for the Darkmoon Pet Supplies -- I think that only drops the Darkmoon Eye but I'm not sure.

A number of pet tamers will still give you pet supply sacks as dailies after you complete the battle quests such as Grand Master Trixxy in Winterspring and Lydia in Deadwind Pass.

The drop rate on this pet is listed as 0.3% which is low but if you do all the pet dailies that drop bags every day that gives you a fighting chance and since generally one does those dailies anyway for the chance at stones it's not a horrible grind.

Since I had to go off-site for this information:

Drop chance seems to be 1/200 (0.5%)

Has anyone received more than one from bags? I got one early on, been trying to get one for a friend by doing dailies and so far haven't seen it again.

Edit: Confirmed you can get more than one from bags on the same account.

Does anyone know if this pet is automatically rare quality or is it a matter of chance like pets such as the sapphire cub?

Some reason the dailies are no longer giving me the satchel to be able to obtain this little guy...
