In-game Communities Feature
Are there (or will there be) official WarcraftPets Communities utilizing 8.0's new Community feature in game? If so, how do I join?

We're currently working on setting up official WarcraftPets In-game Communities for both factions. We'll have more details in the near future. Keep an eye on this forum section

Nope, In-game Communities are not restricted to realms/battlegroups. They are faction and region-specific last I checked though. We'll be creating both Horde and Alliance WCP Communities for NA/Oceanic.

Re: In-game Communities Feature
Nothing for EU? If you make it a BNet group you can see it with both your ally and horde toons. Do you have someone setting up one for EU? Don't want to ruin it by making one that's not really yours if you plan to make one.

Re: In-game Communities Feature
We're still working on setting up in-game communities for both factions. Once those are all sorted, we'll look into creating the same for EU. Thank you for your patience!

Thanks you. An EU Community would be fantastic. Thanks for great work here; love this community.

That's great news! Looking forward to having the EU community!Quintessence wrote:We're still working on setting up in-game communities for both factions. Once those are all sorted, we'll look into creating the same for EU. Thank you for your patience!
Re: In-game Communities Feature
Any news on if you are going to make an EU community, or can we just make one named Warcraftpets ourselves?
Re: In-game Communities Feature
I'd also like to know if there's news on an EU community? I'd rather there be one official one, like in the US.

Re: In-game Communities Feature
We haven't had much success finding someone to run the "official" EU WarcraftPets In-Game Communities.
If anyone would like to volunteer to start, maintain, and moderate both EU Alliance & Horde communities, please contact me: quintessence @ warcraftpets.com
We'll discuss certain rules and regulations that need to be in place to keep it as uniform with our other communities as possible, as well as any questions/concerns.

For those who were waiting for an EU community, there is now one up and running!

Do the links always stay valid for only a short time? I wanted to add it to my signature and wall post etc but it's a pain if it doesn't stay valid.Nicrot wrote: ↑July 19th, 2019, 3:41 pmLink above is no longer valid, here's new one: https://blizzard.com/invite/xNLyMBUevR
Re: In-game Communities Feature
Unfortunately each link is only valid for one day. So yeah, we're going to have to refresh it every day.
Re: In-game Communities Feature
Bah. I'll add a link to the EU Community thread you made instead. People can either get the latest link there or post and ask for it.

Re: In-game Communities Feature
There should be an option when creating the link to make a permanent one that never expires. There's a section on this page that explains how to do it.
