Another question is how a purely mechanical device can explode in a rain of feathers. Those feathers must be hidden inside its hull, because I certainly don't see them anywhere else. I must say the Rocket Chicken is my favorite pet. When I first saw it I didn't think much of it, but just absolutely fell in love with it once I saw the NPC in Booty Bay and especially when I got my very own.

When Burnie, my Rocket Chicken, explodes it is hard to not get some reaction from myself or someone else. Its funny when someone wonders what had just happened. One of my friends always cries. I tend to get annoyed when he explodes while I'm mounted, but I also love it too.

Players who you group with will ask "What was that?" when he explodes. I've had this since that card expansion comes out and I still get questions about it all the time. He will idle around pecking at the ground then lift off every few seconds.

This is the pet I get the most whispers about. People are very curious when he explodes and the feathers fly. I had him out a lot when farming for the raptors. Hours of amusement for all my pet-loving counter-parts. Mine seems to like exploding more often than he used to as well.

I always like this pet the first time i got it, it is very funny when ever it explodes and many people always wonders what happens. Something i would like to see is that when you mount on a flying mount and fly it takes off also and can fly with you.

It's a little known fact that when ever the Rocket chicken explodes on your party or raid, the "white stuff" that expands and falls is actually purified win. My guild out right demands this pet be out during raids and new fights :)

The Rocket Chicken is the first step in a elaborate world domination plot orchestrated by a group of gnomes and goblins that have put aside their differences and decided to combine their mechanical expertise. The Rocket Chicken itself isn't that frightening, sure, but when they reveal the Rocket Bear, oh-ho-ho! The world will tremble!
