There are a number of events in WoW that trigger the loss of your summoned minipet, such as riding a taxi or hearthing. This addon reminds you to resummon a minipet, either by displaying a text warning and/or flashing the MiniPet button. When you click the MiniPet button, one of your companions will come out an play at random!

INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip the contents of the downloaded folder into your "…\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns" directory. Upon entering the game, you’ll discover a moveable flashing button. Clicking this button will summon a minipet companion at random. Additional options are listed below. |

TIP: When a new patch arrives, this addon might be automatically disabled by WoW. If this happens, click the "AddOns" button on your character selection screen. Then check "Load out of date AddOns". This will reactivate your MiniPet addon. If the addon no longer works as it should, please contact me. |
Features:
- Alerts you to summon a minipet upon entering the game.
- Alerts you to summon a minipet upon entering an instance.
- Alerts you to summon a minipet upon resurrecting.
- Alerts you to summon a minipet after using a taxi service.
- Alerts you to summon a minipet after teleporting or hearthing.
- Drag and position the MiniPet button whereever it's most convenient for your UI.

Known Issues:
There are a few discrepancies that I, with my limited LUA knowledge, have been unable to fix. I invite any LUA programmers to tweak the code to resolve these issues. And if you do, please contact me with the fixes!
- Alerts upon resurrection do not always work.
- Alerts do not work when entering non-instanced portals, such as the portal in the Stormwind mage tower.
- When mounted, right-clicking the button (to hide it) will cause it to cycle to another pet on your character instead.
- After swapping a pet out of the bank for a new one, when the next alert comes, the MiniPet button may show the pet that was just placed in the bank.
- Alerts have never been programmed to display after dismounting from one's own flying mount.
- The Teleport: Silvermoon spell does not trigger the MiniPet alert, as it should.
Translations:
Only the English translation is currently being maintained. The German translation is current through patch 2.3.3, thanks to CrispyRoll. While a French translation exists, it has not been updated in some time and is missing all of the new pets as well as others released in 2007.
I invite any French speaking individuals to update the translation file and send it to me. I also welcome other language translations from anyone who would like to take the time to do so. Email the updated localisation.lua file to breanni{at}warcraftpets.com.
