Hey I have traded for older blizzcon pet codes.... but is the crusader murloc going to be a code too? When will the code be redeemable? Im trying to remember how things were done in previous virtual ticket pets. I know you have to buy a blizzcon ticket using your battlenet account and cant trade the ticket but the pet is a code right and not just awarded to your account?

Yeah I am wondering this too. I really don't want to shell out 40 bucks for what I imagine will be a tradeable code later. But I thought in the past you could buy multiple virtual tickets so friends could use them too.

When I bought the virtual ticket it said your pet and other goodies will be credited to your bnet acc. Not sure what that means

bleah I think they are trying to stop the secondary market for trading blizzcon pets this year is what it sounds like.

The virtual ticket pet is NOT a code and it looks like you can only buy a virtual ticket for your own account. However, everyone that actually goes to Blizzcon will get the physical loot card and if they want to sell their card, they can. It will be exactly like Murkablo, he still has loot cards popping up even though he was easily attainable by virtual ticket for a mere $40 in 2011. I shoulda done that, lol. $65 later, lesson learned!

Faelar, I suggest you shell out the $40 as that is probably the cheapest you'll ever find this pet! Murkablo for $40 was an absolute steal!

I'd rather just trade for someone's blizzcon card. I pretty much refuse to drop real money on these pets and have not had to do so thus far. I'll figure something out

Yeah I really don't care about anything in blizzcon but I want the pet. Bleah
Re: Crusader Murloc from blizzcon, code?
I'm in the same boat as Faelar, I don't spend cash for anything in game and so I was hoping to trade for the pet code (or some guildmates had tentively offered me theirs). I don't play the other Blizzard games either nor am I interested in watching the stream, so I guess I won't be getting this pet either unless I manage to trade with someone who attends the con. :/
Re: Crusader Murloc from blizzcon, code?
ya I just spoke to a representative on the phone regarding a different matter, & asked about a virtual ticket being gifted they said you can either:
- give your friend your payment info so they can put it in for the virtual ticket
- get your friends info put it in, & put in your payment info to get them a virtual ticket
So I guess, what one would do, is I guess maybe paypal someone $$ to buy a virtual ticket, they get the pet, & they get you the Blizzcon log in information, so the person not interested in the pet (such as myself), could view all the Blizzcon stuff maybe?
