Any Ret Pallies?

Post by Skyquake » November 22nd, 2013, 9:10 pm

So I have sort of an unusual play-style: I don't play. I am not a gamer and have poor small-motor coordination and a reaction time best measured against molasses running uphill in January. I grind my pets and make my millions and am content. I'd like the Brawler's Guild Pet, but I am stuck on Ixx. It seems I can move out of the fire, or DPS, but not both. I've tried about 20 times on an Elemental Shaman and never come even remotely close.

It occurs to me that I have a 90 Paladin and could use Pursuit of Justice to significantly increase my run speed. I'm going to deck him out in crafted PVP gear and a rare Ilvl 463 weapon enchanted with Windwalk and give it a whirl. My questions are:

1) Is there a very simple "rotation" that allows me to keep three charges of Holy Power up at all times for the full 138% run speed and still eventually kill the bastidge?

2) If not, what is the simplest rotation that will eventually get the job done?

Per Icy-Veins.com
http://www.icy-veins.com/brawlers-guild-ixx-rank-3-wow

"Tanek said for Retribution Paladins: I recommend a build of 213223. Most of the talent options can be interchanged but this is my preferred method and makes good use of the burst that Rets have available. Remember that with a 2 minute enrage timer the T14 4 set bonus will not help, so if you have other pieces that have better itemization use them instead. The 2 set bonus is still beneficial if you have it.

As is the case with most fights in the brawlers guild you will be attacking the boss from the front a majority of the time which means being hit capped and expertise capped (up to the hard cap) is the best way to improve DPS.

Use Sacred Shield before the boss spawns to get the shield rolling and also make sure to use Hammer of the Righteous to keep up the Weakened Blows effect. I like Glyph of Divine Protection and Glyph of Templar's Verdict for the damage mitigation and Glyph of Avenging Wrath for the heal. I do not pre-pot on this fight as he should be dead before a minute anyhow and it is more efficient to pot at the same time that you use Avenging Wrath and Guardian of Ancient Kings."

Don't go with PvP gear. Brawlers guild is a PvE place so the pvp power and other pvp stats are useless. I would recommend spending a little time on the Timeless Isle and get the 496 tokens for your toon and try it with that. Also if you go with your pally his weapon is huge, the difference between a 463 rare and the 476 epic for 20k timeless coins is pretty big or if you do have the millions and gold isn't an issue get the BS crafted 502.
"Even when you are winning soundly, you must always give your opponent a way to retreat with honor. If you don't, then he has no reason to surrender. He will fight until the bitter end, and you will pay a larger price for victory."
