With the isle being quite empty now, what do you think the future of Venge porcs will be once the isle dies completely and everyone levels up to 100?

Remember, you can't get a coin from anyone under level 90 so killing peoples alts won't get you anywhere close to the 100 needed.

There is a way, to earn Bloody Coins in BGs..

I can't remember, if yóu use the Censer or another item, but it does give you a (small?) chance to proc a coin from a killing blow in BGs..

Presumably, that will work in WoD too..

Yes, I know of that item. I also know that it's trash. Hour long cooldown that expires on death and lasts for 10 minutes. If it didnt expire on death, it would be fine.

Are you sure, the Oath buff is lost on death? I know Censer is, but surviving for 10min in a BG (while actively hunting KBs) is virtually impossible..

Isle will never be empty, cose it will transformed into xrealm zone. So it will be always up 100 ppl to farm.

I doubt that.. When WoD is released, TI will offer little or nothing to 99,9% of the player base...

I'm getting about 50 bloody coins per week by farming my alt that's on another account. The debuff that the killed toon gets makes the process painfully slow. If I only wanted the pet it wouldn't be so bad but I want the mount first. I'm only at 220 coins now so I really wish I could find a better way. Very seldom do I get an opportunity to fight another player besides my alt, and then about half of those fights end up with me dead and having to wait to use the Censor again. I'd be willing to transfer servers if that would make a big difference in accumulating the coins. Ultimately I'd like to get the 2000 coins achievement.

One thing that Blizzard could do to help with low(er) interest on the isle, is reduce the price on the Vengeful Porcupette once the expansion is released. It will mean we'll have to continue farming Bloody Coins, but a small compromise is better than nothing.

My main server is a PVE server. So there are currently only two ways to get coins. 1. run around hoping to find someone flagged for PVP from doing random BGs; 2) go to the isle with a buddy and take turns killing each other every 10 minutes. The second one actually produces more coins, and you can do it while grinding rep or doing other dailies. But I don't have a friend dedicated to doing it with me, so chances are I may never get the pet.

Best way to handle this (assuming you're not ganking people on a big PVP realm) is kill trading with a buddy or better yet, a second account if you happen to have one. Yes it takes a long time due to the 10 min debuff and the toon that is being killed for coins has to stay online in order to get the debuff to drop off. But I did get 500 coins for the mount this way. As for the pet the prices are pretty reasonable right now IMO (under 10k) so I just bought it rather than get more coins.

I would suggest trading for one if you don't see any reasonably priced ones on your realm's AH.

Really, it is the law of supply and demand. If the price of these things get high enough, then some of us will just park a lvl 90 alt there next expansion and trade kills with a guildmate a few times a day. Unless Garrisons are super-useful for all of my 11 lvl 90s, I probably will have a handful of alts I won´t be playing for months.
