Players can earn this pet when the Pet Battle World Quest "Combustible Vegetation" is active on The Forbidden Reach.

The quest involves defeating a legendary "boss pet" NPC in a pet battle. Its difficulty can be reduced down one rank for every defeated nearby enemy pet NPC. Once its difficulty reaches rare, defeating the "boss pet" will reward the pet.
