Got mine during a Black Empire assault, so Mogu assault not necessary. Found at the pond just south of the words "THE GOLDEN PAGODA" on the zone map. Uncommon.

Found as a common quality primary pet in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms during a Mogu assault. The coords are 62.57, 51.78. Happy hunting!

Had to kill so many normal critter versions of this before the pet version would spawn, took hours.

Found mine in the small lake next to mogu'shan palace.  It was sitting on the edge of the water, gray quality.  Hope that helps someone!
