Patch 6.2.0 | Posted: June 23, 2015
Orphaned Aquatic Animal Rescue is a rare naval mission.
This Ship-Combat mission takes 1 day, costs 100 oil, and requires 2 ships. It will remain available in your command table for 21 days, or until completed.
A prerequisite mission must be completed before gaining access to Orphaned Aquatic Animal Rescue. After completing Blockade: South Sea, a larger mission area is unlocked on the map.
There are five threats to counter: Stormy Weather, Destroyer, Minelayer, Submarine and First Strike.

Who would leave such a cute shark behind? The Iron Horde truly has no soul.
I only have Mists of Panderia so I can't quest this pet. Bought a rare at auction for a measly 2g. Leveled it to 21 the first day and 25 by the second. Love that "Swallow You Whole" attack! Just a cool pet to have in your collection.
I had 8 hours to complete the mission and 60% success rate, Won it!
I like Dazzling Dance & Swallow You Whole. Rain Dance is nice too. I just wish the shark itself were darker in color so it'd stand out more from that bubble.
The counters to the mission aren't hard to come by if you max out the ships. I got mine yesterday with 100% chance. I waited until I could counter everything because I am weirdly attached to my ships and don't want to risk losing any of them. There's nothing obscure to combat; they can all be countered with the "standard" blueprint drop types.
I would not recommend running the mission on a low chance like Pinyin suggested. You have over 20 days to do it and there is no knowing when you may get it again. Just work on getting the right counters. Which I am doing myself atm. *update* got mine, 92% with 2 rare ships.
This pet is so cute! Got lucky and got ahold of him early. If you stand still long enough, he will indeed start to do a sort of "dance", which consists of him looking around in a circle three times in a row. A nice addition, as they could have just as easily given him no idle animation.
Got this pet this morning from the ship mission table. Mission percentage for success was low (under 64%) so I was worried. I was lucky, got the pet and didn't lose a ship. Posting this so that people know to take the risk if they get the mission and the chance of success is low.
