which breed for skunky
skunky seems to be a reasonably strong pet. I wonder which breed does community recommend. I have H/S and H/P

Well, IMO, since it has such a wide range of attacks AND breeds...I'd have to say that you'd do pretty well with either/both breeds that you have. Pets don't have to necessarily go one extreme way or the other. It's all about testing and logic. Do what you can with what you have. 
The Skunky can whoop up on Elementals, Mechanicals, Undead (to a degree) and Critters...and in general, if you use Inebriate, it can really put a damper on just about anything's day...with the exception of a Flayer Youngling or Jademist Dancer. It's also resilient against Mech pets...which are somewhat popular (Minefields, Ion Cannons, Decoys, etc.). To be perfectly honest, I see myself building a team or two around this pet and seeing what happens. It should be really fun!
