Exchange Rate

Hey all,
I recently got back into WoW after being gone for well over a year. It looks like I've missed a -lot- of pets in my absence and I know I'm going to need to start trading for them. When I left pets were trading at about a 1:1 ratio, i.e. 1k worth of pet was worth about $1... but looking at the trading threads now I'm guessing that's not the case anymore

So can anyone fill me in on what the exchange rate is these days? Thanks!

You can use the current token prices as a baseline to start. Currently in US a token ($20) is going for a little over 40k, so 2:1. Then keeping in mind that the demand for items that require RL currency is higher, you're looking at more like 3:1, 4:1 or even more at times, depending on what's being traded.
