This crosses both collecting and trading and impacts US and EU - so rather than spam every forum, I thought I'd pop it here 
Someone recommended a website to me in their quest for a mount off of the BMAH. It's a site which tracks BMAH auctions both past and present (as present as data is being uploaded):

There is also an addon available in Curse. The website has details on how you can upload data from your BMAH to the site. It's a very easy, 5 second process.
Now, if you're like me and have started to hedge your bets across servers looking for that elusive pet, this *may* just be the way to grab it!
What if you're not on a server that happens to have a pet up for grabs? You could post on here what you're after and pet or pets you're willing to trade for said pet. Someone on that server could agree to bid on the pet up to an agreed value and if they win, the transaction takes place. All you have to do is go create a level 1 to complete the caging and trading of the pets.
