Can you craft mounts?
Perhaps if you offer those, the trade would be more equal...
A lot of those pets you want are expensive or hard to obtain compared to the 2 you offered.

I'd suggest that You try to obtain a mechanical chicken for trading... Its quest based and while a bit annoying to get since it requires lots of travel, it has a value of about 11K on US servers.

Go and do the Tannan pet Dailies, Nightmare Bell is still worth a lot, if you can get it to drop.

If you have a level 3 fishing shack; join a Fishing raid and get Nat's lucky coins, you can trade them for higher value pets like the Sea Calf.

You don't have to spend gold to get higher value pets.

Maybe you can offer a pet leveling/upgrade service via stones?
