WTS Grunty (Emerald Dream)

Every year, I offer up Grunty on my realm forums, but never get any serious bites. Lucky me, I suppose, since this fellow has appreciated in value.

I have an unscratched card that I am willing to sell (card or I can scratch and send code) for 400K. I suppose I am willing to consider partial compensation via interesting trades (I prefer tabards, mounts...I am not a pet collector).

Well I already have the pet so it is one reason I didn't make any offers of course, but I'd say that the asking price is prolly a bit too high. The Ebay price of Grunty is in the mid 200's thus asking 400k for it is a lot harder to make happen. You are looking for gold on a specific realm which limits trades even further because it would likely involve someone having to character transfer to move that type of money. And finally the other thing really impacting the trade is that...well...you don't want pets for it.

So you are looking to trade with people that mainly deal in pet/bnet type of transactions but you want gold on a speicific realm, mounts/tabards/etc, and that is only partial trades, you are still wanting gold. You are making the trade pretty tough to have happen. Not knocking the trade, just pointing out why you may have not gotten much action.

Thanks for the feedback, Faelar. I did a search on this forum on the pet and it seemed like the last seller was asking and got 375k or 400k. You're right - I am not pricing to liquidate immediately. I am just seeing if I get a lucky hit. It's probably best to keep holding this card and let it appreciate in value due to it's finite and declining availability.

Yup best thing is to be patient with that pet. It will only go up in value as each day passes really.

Yup, we're here to start some battle pet drama! Ha ha. Actually, I might take this expansion to work on my battle pet achievements/collecting, so I'll be sniffing around for guides/advice.

As for Grunty...I don't really need the gold. I'd just blow it on mounts that I wouldn't ride. I guess I'll let Grunty appreciate in value for now. I am definitely not in a rush to liquidate.

Frankly, it looks like you're instigating drama on a thread where I am simply trying to sell a pet. I see no reason for you to start up this aggression.

And I am with Epidemic. We're friendly, community loving players.
