Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I gave this comp a whirl and it was fun, but I ran into a bit of trouble against a fossilized hatchling/direhorn/anub idol team. I probably could have beat them, but he saw my telegraphed play pretty well. He kept the hatchling up until the blinding poison hit, then swapped to the direhorn, who AoE...

If you ares still strugling with The celestial tournament
2 simple ways to guarantee you win every week. 1. You need a pet that can do aoe heal to your whole team. For undercard fights, just pick the team which will not do any damage in the first round and save it for last, use this team to heal your other pet up again, when you are facing the 4 celestials...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I have two questions, anyone can answer, please. I don't understand how the Death Adder hatchling goes with the valk? Someone please explain. And two, if I don't have the qiraji what's a great third pet with these two? Thank you <3 The whole point of build a valk team is based on one single fact : ...

Re: What is the best Unborn Valk breed?
Personally, I'm fine having the h/h and letting the opponent haunt first. I'm not going to try to haunt when I know I will loose so I won't suicide my pet. Then I'll haunt their next pet that they swap in. I disagree on this. When a BB valk against a HH valk, the HH valk will be in a very bad situa...

Re: Anzu's Blessing
Yup, I have to echo Poofah here. Call Darkness and Nocturnal Strike simply brutally overshadows Anzu's Blessing with the burd's obscenely high 337 power. Well, if this pet will have a 337 power, then its almost for sure is just another glass cannon, and may even worse than the lil rag. Lil rag stil...

Re: Anzu's Blessing
Now we will dig deeper, what about this to team up with a valk? Lets say the valk will haunt first, then next round this pet will be up and use the buff? Haunt is a 5 rounds dot. The first round will do 156 dmg (no buff) 2nd round 156X1.25 = 195 dmg (39 extra) 3rd round (lets assume will use the 90%...

Re: Anzu's Blessing
I think you are missing that since its a team buff it will buff all existing dot's/cyclones/turrets etc. This can really hurt. At least thats how Rain Dance works. In theory yes. But in reality you also need to consider these facts : 1. to better utilize this skill, the pet should only be switched ...

Re: Oppent Concesson != Match Win?
IIRC, the match has to last a certain amount of time before being counted as a win, it's either 30 or 60 seconds. It was to stop the win-trading-for-easy-xp-and-levels lark ;) Cheers! Well, that's not the case now. What you have mentioned did happen during a period of time but they hotfixed that la...

Re: Pet-racial strength
The undead racial is superior than any other racial in my opinion. Its just not only about the racial itself but the way how most of the undead pet had been designed - very low speed and high HP. Since the undead racial basically will ignore your opponent's attacking speed, that means speed in most ...

A good undead team for starter will be :
a HH spirit crab
a HH Lost of Lordaeron
a Frosty if you have one or a HH Infested Bear Cub

Re: PVP help~
For anyone whose new to PVP, I normally will suggest them to start with an undead team with lots of HP. The idea is this : undead team basically will ignore your opponent's speed because of the racial of undead, hence for a newbie pvp player, you can concentrate more on the calculation. when I say c...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
Also, there is a little trick I want to share regarding using the valk / snake / guardling team. Say if I will face a 333 imp, its normal for most people to put their 341 snake out first to counter that because of the speed, well, I don't. If I get my snake out, the best scenario will be I will get ...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I've actually run into a similar themed team. Valk + Basilisk + Fiendish Imp I won't claim it was as good as the one mentioned here (for reasons 3wd mentioned just above), but if I remember correctly, the team would do the following: 1. Haunt 2. Crystal Prison 3. Thrash 4. Feign 5. Nethergate 6. Im...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
Just got paired against a team with Creepy Crate (BONESTORM), Fossilized Hatchling (BONESTORM) and Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (Thunderbolt). How do you beat that? The Qiraji and Snake didn't really enjoy the BONESTORMs. My group really loves BONESTORM und Thunderbolt. And I really want to hear ...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I played this team for a few hours last night and it is very good against a wide range of opponents. I must admit stating "most powerful" is over the line here, probably just a shameful way to attract people to check out this thread. As for the tough opponents you mentioned, even against the crawda...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
Why don't you use a [pet]Turkey[/pet] with Food Coma which is faster then the Qiraji because of the flying racial and is strong against aquatic pets? I actually tried out the turkey in my earlier builds with valk, the problem with food coma is : the sleep will be broken by the dot of the huant. Hen...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I don't see what you mean. Pup takes less damage from the Valk and eats the snake for breakfast. If it goes up against the Guardling it's a guessing game if you are going to stun or use Sandstorm, or wait stall with Crush, since it can dive and avoid one of those attacks. Even If you pull the pet t...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
round 2 : fox stay (none of the fox kit has 325 speed) guardling kick and stun fox take another 156 dmg round 3 : fox stun snake up fox take another 156 dmg You assume that everyone just leaves their stunned pet on the front row for 2 rounds? Nobody will do that. I will move my fox to the back row ...
