Argus up, Ilvl UP!
Because of that, I expect the data to be quite dynamic for first two weeks.
I hope this doesn't disrupt any communication plans, especially for US participants.
*Crosses fingers for some Blood DKs. What a cruel task. I think I need a lot of sunglows. *

Do you perceive scripts at other sites than Warcraft Pets? If a browser is affected, there is no particular website where the script sticks to.

Re: Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
40% for Elemental pets (elementals ignore weather effects - passive trait, like undead coming back for one life) Believe it or not, the tooltip DOES show that its a 40% chance for Elemental. Moral of story, don't use Noturnal Strike on Elementals in Darkness I think that a fellow battler who is one...

Re: Alternative to Squirt? Fighting Andurs
Ow! My bad. I was thinking that the WQ was nerfed aswell. Still, the more alternate options, the better. But that's me, who uses even the minute gains to adjust the experience for using battle-training stones. It would be helpful if Rematch was able to show where (level + XP bar) a pet would be afte...

Re: Alternative to Squirt? Fighting Andurs
Did they buff the shipwrecked captive then? I haven't tested in a few months. Previously it was nerfed to garrison levels (T=0.5). I think it's still that way, but I compare a trio of pets to a single epic opponent which compensates for the lower T value. e.g. 930 XP for lvl 22 no hat but apparentl...

There has been a reset in EU so I can't check this anymore, but I can imagine a DMD playing a big part, if you can decrypt that acronym.

Re: Alternative to Squirt? Fighting Andurs
As far as I can recall Shipwrecked Captive gives a similar experience, but lasts longer due to a full team and has an annoying AOE. Nevertheless, it's repeatable aswell, and a weekly not a WQ. The guides are outdated, so maybe could it encourage someone to give it a try? :) One of the pets has to be...

Erm, [ability]Nocturnal Strike[/ability] of Bone Serpent is flying too! But back to the topic. It's nice to see how someone's approach can differ from most "vocal" solutions. :) Myself, I've always heard of them in a PvP context rather than the PvE one, because of the undead family and a strong heal...

Well, it would have been much more bountiful if these dailies had actually been appearing at a constant pace.

I've been trying to reshape this ([pet]Hyjal Wisp[/pet]/[pet]Iron Starlette[/pet]) Xu-fu's strat (the text is skewed in the middle). Basically you can still make it to the end provided that you know what are you doing without sticking to bare contents. I've also proposed a custom approach (looks a b...

Thank you for this elaborate explanation. It's useful even for those who don't intend to hop. Some people who have been playing only on a PvP server ask how come some players have orange nicknames. After an explanation this is a non-PvP server feature, I couldn't really tell why it sometimes persist...

I've also seen a report about the second tick being a technical DoT -- that is, unavoidable and dealing a halved damage to aquatic targets. As the first part seems to have been changed, I decided to fight an aquatic creature -- the damage dealt is finally normal! The condition check, however, still ...

It seems that TCS has a Twilight Fire as her formerly missing ability.
There the hopes are crushed.
"At least it's a DoT" Yeah, but with a cooldown. Quite likely a Bone Serpent syndrome.

Re: What's in a name? A guide to naming your battle pets.
Excellent post! I generally use themes for groups of pets. Like the 4 Dragonhawks... I named after seasons. I named falcosaurs after seasons, though at first I couldn't decide between summer and autumn. Adding adjectives helped a bit. Quite intuitively, I also named some of pets after people who he...
