Re: Use for Soothe?
Ok. For PvE that might be useful, to switch in a lowbie. For PvP, only use might be to soothe, heal and switch, so you get a "free" switch even though you still get hit when casting soothe, so seems not really useful. If only it wouldn't be removed by first hit then it could have been of more use I ...

Re: kovok counter
Kovok is a really great support pet now. Black Claw can be really powerful, sandstorm is not even a problem, and Kovok is the sturdiest pet that can apply Black Claw(with digest brain mind you). The raptors are just a bit too squishy. Pair it with dot/multi attack. Clockwork Gnome, 341 power Moth wi...

Re: The Murkapult
Playing around with counter ideas. Root type moves seem useful. Fossiled hatchling with prison worked decently. Guess mines can be useful to remove the shield when a pet is switched in so you can at least do something, like blind or stun if lucky. Other than that guess you need a shielded or magic p...

Re: The Murkapult
Also noticed that Murkalots shield move is pretty good. It said it blocked one attack, but it seemed team wide. I used a cyclone and it blocked all three hits on the team. Usually those types of moves does not work that way I think.

Re: The Murkapult
Inspiration is very flawed. How on earth did they think pairing 100% dmg bonus with 100% speed bonus, that is what truly makes this broken. Guess I have to go back to feign death or deflection. You have to be really lucky to time a dodge/blind. Guess really fast birds can be useful, unless murkalot ...

Yes, scratch the Brittle Webbing. It would be totalt worthless vs Kovok. Damn

Re: Unborn val'kry haunt
Sear Magic would remove Haunt, wich in essence would cause it to expire and the valk to resurrect. Though Haunt has no cooldown so it can be cast again as soon as the valk is in the frontline. The true power of Haunt is that you get a free switch and the Valk cant be damaged during the duration. Oth...

Re: Thoughts on Ruby Droplet and other new pets
First times I was up against a Kovok I thought Pheromones were a bit over the top. But I feel it's becoming less of a problem. First I started using counters like Sear Magic, but nowdays I just outdo it's damage. Pheromones was really scary when paired with a Jademist Dancer. Since I have no Kovok m...

Re: Celestial Tournament 101-Week 3-sept.24 [US and EU tips]
My Baby Ape just soloed Sully "The Pickle" McLeary. I think I got a lucky miss from Burrow but other than that it was no problem really. The extra turns you get from the stun are worth it.

Re: 1,001 Pet Battle Tips
Another tip on how to do the legendaries. Lucky Yi. I use a 341 Power Zandalari Anklerender. Just Black Claw -> Hunting Party. Dead. If not then finish it off with a Leap. Greyhoof/Gorespine/Kafi. I use a 341 Speed Zandalari Kneebiter and Darkmoon Tonk. Black Claw - Hunting Party. Usually the raptor...

Re: 1,001 Pet Battle Tips
One problem many have in pvp is that they are too predictable. Always using attacks in the same order for example. You really need to mix it up sometimes. Example. Facing a Kun-Lai Runt they usually do Frost Shock -> Deep Freeze. Unless you are down to the last pet, just switch pets after Frosth Sho...

Re: Glorious pet battle failures!
Opponent had just Ion Cannoned and was going to recover for 2 rounds. What do I do? I use a stun. *sigh*
On the other hand in my next fight someone didn't really think through his team comp. He used Arcane Storm, then proceeded to switch in his Direhorn and use Horn Attack.

Re: PvP and the worst players you've seen.
After 1k+ wins I have sure made some stupid moves from time to time. Switched in a weak pet, not switched a pet, clicked attack instead of dodge and so on. Recently i had two fun things happen. Anub cast sandstorm, I switched to a blighthawk, opponent switched anub to a bone spider and started to do...
