Re: Everyweek is Exactly the Same
At this point I'm just wondering whether my Bling 6000 needs a factory reset. I drop it in every raid. The chat box fills up with gray items and the occasional bloods or shotguns from everyone opening their gifts but never the pet. I even saw someone get a legendary from it once. I can understand it...

Re: No new pets from raids :(
I was especially disappointed that there wasn't a single pet to be had in Nighthold despite the numerous encounters that practically scream pet material: scorpion with Arcane Blast and Quake from Skorpyron, mini Pulsauron with force swap and Surge of Power from Chronomatic, Roomba with Clean-up and ...

It may be even longer than that. Master Tamer Flummox is currently broken and not granting Family Familiar updates. You could very well complete every other tamer and still end up having to wait for Flummox to be fixed so that you can then spend another month or two waiting on enough Flummox WQs to ...

Re: Let's put an end to Graves/MPD teams
I've been doing my civic duty with P/S Netherspace Abyssal, Son of Sethe, and S/S Ore Eater. My favorite is when they go "ooh, magic pet!" and start with the MPD (also good is if I can force swap it in!) so I can get Immolation and Sethe heals rolling for when they swap to Graves after the Decoy imm...

Re: Graves observations
I'm talking about leaving Graves in until he finally becomes CD locked, which is when RI comes back up. Round 1- RI to Graves Round 2- Bonestorm Round 3- Consume Round 4- Grave Destruction Round 5- Consume Round 6- Bonestorm Round 7- Consume, finally CD locked on all three abilities Round 8- Swap to...

Re: Graves observations
Not to mention that it wipes out the Clonedance competition on top of its monstrous teamwide damage. And CD lock with Consume only becomes a problem if you don't use it with a Murkalot; RI will be up by then as long as you space out Grave Destruction. I never found Sandstorm helpful in any meaningfu...

Re: Mechanics thread
You would bring in pet A. The swap is actually based off of which slot they're in picking the very next one in line. Nether Gate on A brings in B, Nether Gate on B brings in A, and Nether Gate on C brings in A. There is no way to keep C in on the swap because no matter what you do either A or B will...

Re: Touch of the Animus
Enemies "plagued" by Plagued Blood or Touch of the Animus will generate a set amount of healing for the damage-dealer when damaged. If your pet gets plagued by my Son of Sethe, successive Plagued Blood spam by the Son will proc the healing effect for itself once per round. If instead I swap out to m...

Teroclaw Hatchling. Evasion and healing can ensure lengthy use of Flying. Elemental conversion counters most Mechs and removes Magic weakness. Even on such a slow Flying pet Alpha Strike is always a viable option due to backrow healing although you could opt for the always-handy Claw instead.

Multiple Decoy users against my Immolation heal. The Netherspace Abyssal can practically solo the entire team with its elemental dots and the ease of setting up the Son of Sethe's heals for it while the Blocks are eaten from the back row. It's not uncommon for me to win without losing a single pet.

Re: ruby droplet
If you have any 90+ alts you are not using you can park them at the spawn point to log on and kick Garnia in the face when you get bored. The drop rate is pretty low though so it might take awhile, plus once you get the drop it might not be an ideal breed for PvP. I have no idea what they go for the...

Re: PTR menagerie experience nerfed
I would imagine the awarded exp elsewhere to be no different. In the case of Menagerie battles the severe reduction in reward is meant to reflect the drop in difficulty as the legendary pets become rares. I can see the reasoning behind their decision; the Menagerie is pretty much the first real poin...

Re: What pets should be next?
Scalded Basilisk Hatchling- Its highest possible base speed being 305 somewhat limits its use against legendary trainers, but it gets good mileage out of a speed-based moveset. Thrash to decimate critters, Stun to get out an additional Thrash against non-critters and force trainers to switch pets, a...

Re: Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts
Definitely having the best results with Prowl. I've been running Widget, Cursed Birman, and Mr. Bigglesworth with considerable success and have noticed that the Birman can really turn games around much like the direhorn. It's especially juicy how Prowl interacts with Spirit Spikes boosting its damag...

Re: WoD ... pet pvp and magic pets plea
The passive is incredibly underwhelming. You really have to limit yourself with breeds, and even then it will largely go unused in pet PvP due to the orientation toward DoT and AoE damage. The few PvP viable magic pets are so limited in defensives and healing options that there would be little point...
