Re: good to see some things are still very broken
It's not broken. The resilience debuff doesn't kick in until the CC ends, and if he happens to get lucky with multiple transformations in a row you're going to keep getting frogged.

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions
I can't say I'm impressed with the new version of hitting. Feels like abilities that had a 90% chance to hit, missile among other things, really took it in the shorts.
A 90% chance to do X damage is much better than 50% chance to to 3/4 X or 5/4 X.

I noticed sometimes my pets weren't healing to full when the levelled up, but I haven't had any issues with the heal or bandages.

Re: Zao in the Tournament
1) Any flyer with flock or swarm that's faster than zao even when the flyer is under 50% health. I happen to use a chicken b/c I had one that was S/S breed. 2) After 5 rounds of flock (or swarm) your flyer will be dead. Bring in a mech type with two hard hitting abilities (I prefer the Tranquil Mech...

Re: Celestial Tournament Guide V. 1.0
I'm glad someone found it useful. I kind of stopped updating it. I could never really decide if I wanted the guide to be "This is the fastest, most consistent way of doing it" or if I wanted it to be "This is the simplest way of doing it (ie not needing specific pets". I liked the second way better,...

Re: Fun Murkalot teams
Meh, Murkalot is pretty powerful. But there's likely always going to be something that's the most powerful. First valks, now murkalot, then probably S/S death adders.

Re: Humanoid/undead counters
One of my favourite undead stompers is a P/P zandalari toenibbler with flank/primal cry/black claw. A lot of undead are slow, so you don't need to use PC to get faster. You can either flank/flank to kill a fossilized hatchling before it can heal, or you can use primal cry to slow back pets while the...

Re: Tournament preperations
15 level 25 pets is the minimum to queue for the Celestial Tournament. Unless you have very specific pets and a way to aoe heal ones you've used previously, I think you're going to need more than 15 pets to complete the tournament. Some things I would suggest you level: Pandaren Water Spirit - For C...

Re: Enter Celestials at your own risk......
A large number of pets isn't a guarantee of completing the Celestial Tournament. Just like a high item level isn't a guarantee of being able to kill Garrosh. You still have to play the game and it's more about having the right pets than it is about having a horde of fodder to throw at the trainers u...

I am having a lot of trouble beating Taran Zhu with this team: -Nexus Whelpling (1/2/2) -Fossilized Hatchling (2/1/2) -Nether Ray Fry (*/*/1) What am I missing? Are you putting up your arcane storm so you don't get stunned? Is your nether ray fry the S/S breed so that it's faster than Bolo and the ...

Re: Pet of the Month - Clockwork Gnome
One of the things I like about the Clockwork Gnome is the ability to take an elemental based attack in railgun. Really helps out against other mechs, especially as I use 2 Zandalari Raptors with my Gnome most of the time, so other mechanicals are hurty.

Re: Celestial Tournament 101 [Full tourney + 4 beasts tips]
Is the first post your "best" teams? Or preferred teams might be a better word? I find that a P/P Qiraji Guardling/Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling/Viscidus Ooze decimates Wise Mari. For Kiryn any of the shale hatchlings with Burn/Poison Spit/Stoneskin trivialize the turrets. Bonus points if you get y...

Re: Looking for the best darkness team comp (pvp)
I think I prefer the second darkness team to the first. If you're going to base your team around weather, you should probably have two sources of the weather. A smart player is going to recognize what you're trying to do and with a 5 round cd on darkness you could end up without the buff long enough...

It could have been worse, at least you got to fight back. I ended up facing a Val'kyr/SS DAH/SS Qiraji on the weekend.
I think I got to attack once every 5 rounds.

Re: This Week's C.T. Struggle
Strider is fine for Blingtron's first pet. I prefer a zandalari raptor with hunting party/black claw/leap that's faster than the pig for my second pet. It allows me to stomp the pig, and start blingtron with leap/black claw to get the extra damage on him. This week I finished off Blingtron with a P/...
