Pretty much spot on with all.
My preference is for blazehound at 305 speed.
Bound stream s/s, pyraclaw p/b, and faceless minion p/p are others where I'd ensure I had those specific breeds.

Re: Wind Buffet
They definitely look like they have some use in the meta especially against bs's.
I wouldn't use sandstorm on drafty as it doesn't work with his other abilities at all.

Re: Battle timer?
Anything to prevent the stalemate matches would be welcome though. Dampening would always provide a winner

Re: Battle timer?
Dampening would eliminate this problem entirely. Have it start to come into effect from about round 30/40

Re: The August EU Meta - data analysis
The pet event had a considerable impact on my data as I played around 100-120 matches during it. Since the event has ended I've faced a lot more ba's unfortunatley.

Can you reverse it to see what pets we used the most?
Edit I hope I didn't just play op pets the whole time

Re: Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
We did the testing and it definitely appears to be additive. It can hit and miss with blind debuff and hit debuffs up. I'll upload the video later.
Thanks Paladance for your help

Re: Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
Yeah I think the target being blinded adds hit chance to nocturnal strike I would say at a guess its 150%. I'm gonna test it with paladance later.

Re: Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
You're confusing hit chance and being blinded in your example.
I'm gonna do some testing and can post the video on my channel.

Re: Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
No, I want to know if anyone knows what the hit modifier is for nocturnal strike on a blinded target. The game works like this: nocturnal strike selected>game checks if target is blinded if it is adds xx% to your hit chance> uses nocturnal strike on opponent. I want to know what xx% is in my example...

Re: Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
Nocturnal Strike in Darkness is a 100% hit in Darkness to non-Elemental pets 40% for Elemental pets (elementals ignore weather effects - passive trait, like undead coming back for one life) Believe it or not, the tooltip DOES show that its a 40% chance for Elemental. Moral of story, don't use Notur...

Always hit ability - nocturnal strike/blinded
Does anyone know what the hit modifier is for nocturnal strike whilst the opponent is blinded? I think blood in the water with a bleed is +150% but wondered if this is the same for nocturnal strike/blinded. I'd also be interested in spectral strike hit modifier too. It's a shame that these can miss ...

Re: Early advantage changed?
It makes sense to change it to not be a dot it's just a bit annoying it's not documented anywhere.
Bit of a shame they decided to 'fix' this instead of other parts of pet battles too.

Re: Early advantage changed?
The second hit used to count as a dot tick and hit through blocks/dodge. I'm gonna check my old videos to see if I recorded it. Edit: so there was a change to the ability 30/06/2017. I've also found a couple old posts that mention the second hit going through dodge. Guess it got stealth nerfed after...

Hi,
Did early advantage get a stealth nerf at some point? No longer hits through dodge etc

Re: Anti undead strategy?
The tactic you're suggesting relies on winning head games/rng then being able to land your haunt in the subsequent round. It's just not reliable enough for me I hate the rng of two haunters especially the same speed going head to head but if it works for you it's all good

Re: Anti undead strategy?
Haunt isn't the best way to counter haunt though. Ghastly kid is strong against haunters because of its dispel/ethereal and critter damage. Most haunt teams use haunt followed by an imp, dodge or other stall tactic which prevents or delays getting a counter haunt off. Darkness is soo strong predomin...

Re: Anti undead strategy?
Brawler haunt is good against haunts simply due to how it interacts with it. I.e. When you haunt it removes the dot.

Nice work.
It's always frustrating when someone decides to play sunny day teams so its helpful for people to highlight useful strategies against them.
I agree sunlight/photosynthesis are time wasting teams especially as it's such a basic tactic to play.

I'll be interested in this Gráinne I'm recording the teams I face with Closetozero to get an idea of the meta pets and their occurrence.
