Re: 5.2 PVP - What are you using now?
Haven't done it for too long, but today ran the comp Corefire Imp S/P Fel Flame H/P Zandalari Kneebiter P/P Open with imp, use Immolation, then apply magic bring out fel flame, dot him up, usually first pet then dies, bring out imp again, apply magic fel flame comes out, use conflag/dot then wreck ...

Re: 5.2 PVP - What are you using now?
Nice comp Im using Gilnean Raven - Call Darkness Nocturnal Strike Chuck - Rip - Blood in the Water. (Surge is always good if both pets are about to die and you need that first hit) Visc Globule - 3 dots He seems to never not take a pet with him Interesting. I would have issues with Raven´s Darkness...

Re: The New Op Combo
A new combo I've been trying uses an old loveable pet Mr Wiggles. His uncanny luck makes "high chance to miss" attacks "high chance to hit !" The best combo I've come up with is the robo cub's demolish, which you can spam it for guaranteed massive hits and a yellow moth's (p/p) mothballs. Once the ...

Re: 5.2 PVP - What are you using now?
Scourged Whelpling P/P - 2/1/1 - Great for nuking fast opponents (with speed 227, almost everything is faster) with Tail Sweep + heal on dealing damage (2*60 per turn). Gets 2 attacks after death. Pandaren Water Spirit 1/2/1 - For destroying elementals and for avoiding predictable nukes. Ignores Dar...

Re: Nerf - Call Darkness
It truly is a powerful weather effect used in combination with Attacks Buffed by Blindness Even now it's still a great move for PVP, aside from the Attacks buffed by Blindness, it takes a nice chunk out of any Dragon used on its own. You can say this about many other weather effects. In fact, that ...

Re: The New Op Combo
Let's math it out. Addition is handled before multiplication, and Hunting Party is broken into 3 hits (like Stampede), so for a breed 4 it's turn 1: Black Claw (0 dmg) turn 2: Hunting Party 3*(72+90) = 486 turn 3: Hunting Party with debuff up 2*3*(72+90) = 972 turn 4: Bloodfang with debuff up 2*(47...

Another one from the series. Not the promised one but the matches are quite interesting imo :) Comp: Scourged Whelpling, Pandaren Watere Spirit, Giant Boner Spider. I havent played these pets before, I have only boosted them to 25 so this video also shows learning process :) Enjoy: http://www.youtub...

Re: Gusting Grimoire
Good that I waited a bit with buying it, just found one for 3.70 USD with shipping on eBay :) Anyway, I agree, the model is way too similar to Lofty Libram (Grimoire has rounded corners, Libram has them sharp) and the skin is very similar, too. Pet Battle-wise (PvP point of view) Grimoire seems to b...

Re: Elite battle pet recap for 5.2
Just came across an idea against critters: - open with Singing Sunflower to increase max HP with Sunlight . Then Solar Beam . It will hit weak against a critter but whatever, it is there because of the max HP increase from 4000 to 6000 and you will eat some 650HP before you die. - Carry pet - Clefth...

Re: New bug with Flayer Youngling vs. Farmer Nishi's Turnip
Assuming Sons of the Root behave the same as Sons of the Flame, you don't really want to Reflect that ability. What happens is that both pets go underground and none take any damage. Better is to Kick him and Reflect that Seed I think Actually, when I reflect Sons of the Root my Flayer Youngling go...

Re: Elite battle pet recap for 5.2
I agree about the pet types. Too many critters, beasts and aquatics. I'd like to see more Humanoid and Magic pets out there. Predatory Strike , as mentioned earlier, as well as Impale should be quite the wonderful finishing move. Pets with abilities that do more damage if you have lower health, suc...

Re: Anti-Snowman/Runt/Bear team?
PS: I think lil Rag is one of the weaker favorite pets atm, since he is so easily contered by the Idol Idols will be quite surprised when you use Conflagrate as your first move without Flamethrower. The first hit will deal 60% more damage in 5.2 so he will be down to 950HP while you will be at 1030...

PvP Pet battles Youtube channel
Hi guys, I have just started to publish PvP pet battles on my Youtube channel (normally I put there hunter PvE content]) I will be doing it in series, each volume will feature one team in several matches to see its strenghts and weaknesses. The first volume is rather a tribute to soon dead comp: Anu...

Re: Nordrassil Wisp team comp
Well, why would anyone not switch his blinded pet? Believe me or not, but people rather risked 55% miss chance with a big hit than to lose their turn at all. I didnt make it up, it was happening. Probably a better idea is to use Darkness weather pet and Arcane Blast instead of Flash, not sure. What...

Nordrassil Wisp team comp
HI guys, Anyone has some experiences with Nordrassil Wisp in PvP? I currently have H/S breed which is at 322 speed and is faster than most of the pets (except for FFF S/S, fast critters and fliers above 50%). I could try to go for S/S breed which would be faster than any commonly used pet in PVP (ex...

You still have your third pet, right? It can be something like Emperor Crab P/PShandu wrote:As far as I know with Blizzard up, deep freeze DOES stun critters? because i tried with my 25 tolai hare (fast, dodge, burrow) and he gets stunned. Bear is also a beast, so owns my rabbit
