Re: LF advice for PVP pet battles
if you cant beat em join em. you're gonna have to use some cheese comps yourself if you wanna get 5k without win trading. triple direhorns, valk/qiraji/DAH, blighthawk/jademist, sprite darter/xufu, valk/stitched pup/ blighthawk, lasher/zep/helper, valk/rabbit/crow, triple crows, imp/warbot/claw pick...

Re: To those having issues with Unborn Valk's and Haunt
sometimes if i see a murkalot team i'll open with a stun or blinding poison. make the RI useless. then again, if the opponent predicts that, he wont use RI on the first turn.

Re: This team is kicking my ...
Death adder destroys murkalot. If you use blinding poison on the turn he uses righteous inspiration, it will blind the buffed pet, making it useless. Your opponent might know this and attack on the first turn though. Any pet with a cc could make RI useless.

Re: Need a Sudden Death mechanic?
what? how is 50 or 60 rounds not enough time to win in? how is that possibly cramping ones play style to have some sort of debuff to start happening after then? last time I checked all bosses have enrage timers. how in the world is pet battle that lasts longer than 50 to 60 rounds fun? and even the...

Re: Need a Sudden Death mechanic?
haha. I just faced a sunflower/crawdad/fiendish imp team and I was disgusted so I afked the first two turns, then I decided I'll just fight him and I beat his stupid stall team.
I'm using the valk/qiraji/death adder team though, do people think i'm cheesy for using that?

Re: Need a Sudden Death mechanic?
Usually when I see a sunflower/crawdad team I just go afk. If they're going to run a waste-of-time team i'm going to make them take 5+ minutes to win
Honestly, I think they should double wish's cooldown.

Elemental pets should now correctly be taking less damage while the Sandstorm effect is active.

Re: Interesting new pet changes theyve snuck in
I was considering using vicious fang and crouch over poison fang and puncture wound.
The buildup of vicious fang might do a lot of damage, but the poison fang dot does some pretty nasty damage if your opponent switches pets often.

Re: So how are you using your Rotten Little Helper?
I subbed him in one of my strong teams that used a winter helper. I'll just reveal the team to anybody interested. Crimson Lasher: (2, 1, 1) Darkmoon Zeppelin: (1, 1, 2) Rotten Little Helper: (2, 2, 2) The team works really well with the decoy and stuns. You'll only have problems if your opponent us...

Re: Beast of Fable worth it?
actually it's 1 - (97/100)^10 which is about 27% of getting a stone.
your flimsy logic falls apart if you assume there are 35 different pet types, then you'd have 100% chance of getting a stone.
and the comparison to a dungeon boss dropping a blue is completely unrelated. the blue is 100% drop

Re: Triple Crows Counter?
changing the weather doesn't work cause the crows are faster than you. Try either some elemental pets that wont be affected by the night or some good aoe pets.

I have also noticed this 600 damage hit after bonestorm, clearly a bug. Can you give me some ideas on how to recreate it? What pets were involved and were there any buffs/debuffs? I;ve seen it multiple times when I open with unborn valkyr, I curse of doom first, he bonestorms, then his next hit doe...

Re: Triple Crows Counter?
If he doesn't change the weather use the Nexus Whelpling, Crows attacks outside Call Darkness are weak against it. I havent had much luck using a dragon vs crows. most likely this will happen, crow will alpha strike first turn, you use arcane winds, crow uses call darkness, then nocturnal strike, y...

Re: Triple Crows Counter?
Good suggestions, just one thing about the weather. If my opponent notices I have a weather changer he will not use call darkness on his first turn. He is waiting for me to change the weather and since he's faster (bird racial) he can change it to night immediately. Same thing with the ghostly skull...

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
Add one more to the list : - this is specifically related to Fossilized Hatchling. After the hatchling will use a bonestorm, and then proceed to use either Bone bite of claw in the next round, sometime you will see some insane damage number doing to your pet. Both Bone bite and claw should do some ...
