Re: Help Me with the Celestial Tournament
Just as a side note, there is no reason to pass the first round ever (if anything passing makes you take more damage): R1: Geyser, Chi-Chi renews R2: Whirlpool, Chi-Chi attacks R3: Swap, Chi-Chi ethereals R4: Howl, Chi-Chi attacks, Geyser+Whirlpool go off stunning chi-chi R5: Surge of power kills C...

Re: Your favorite pvp pet and why!
Crabs in general are great pets particularly w/ the self heals and I'm seeing a lot of aqua pets and lots of frogs for some reason...what's up w/ that? The main reason is that there is a bloody Valk on 3/4ths of the teams that you queue into. As to my fave pet, atm it would have to be the [pet]Empe...

Re: Battle with that pet
Genome for your next pet how about bringing out your Jade Tentacle. How could you do this to me?! Heh. In all seriousness, the [pet]Jade Tentacle[/pet] blows. I tried him with a few different groups, and he was essentially the third wheel on a bicycle. The only thing he was remotely effective on wa...

Re: My FotM Counter
I personally believe PP Emperor Crab is probably THE strongest pet in the game right now - given all of the things it can counter, it's just phenomenal. I tend to agree with you Hoots. It is simply very good against so many popular pets right now that it is pretty much a mainstay on all of my teams...

Re: Battle with that pet
Genome, I think my love of non-Anubisath humanoids is uncommon, and with most Idols using Demolish, the time might be right for your [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/dragonkin/dragon-whelps/spawn-of-onyxia/]Spawn of Onyxia[/url] to make a comeback and dominate a few battles. Make it so. I ...

My FotM Counter
Had a pretty good string of wins in the early morning today. I was facing several variations of Valk/DAH/Whatever and the team I put together was winning almost every time. The players seemed skilled as well, so I believe that this team is very solid. In fact, this team did well against just about e...

Re: Help Me with the Celestial Tournament
Elfuego has made some great Youtube videos for the entire tourney. I suggest giving them a try. Of course, some pets are interchangeable. For instance, here are the teams (and the order that I do them in) for the Celestial Bosses: Special note: [pet]Chrominius[/pet] is on three of my teams, but real...

Re: Triple Crows Counter?
When I run into a triple crow setup repeatedly, I switch to my anti-flyer team: Kirin Tor Familiar (Arcane Blast/Arcane Storm/Arcane Explosion) Arcane Eye (Psychic Blast/Drain Power/Mana Surge) and either Mini Mindslayer (Mana Surge/Inner Vision/Life Exchange) or Nexus Whelpling (Frost Breath/Mana S...

Re: Battle with that pet
Genome, why don't you give our friend the Squirrel a run. Whew! Luckily for me, one of my earlier teams used Nuts, so I was pretty familiar with the Squirrel traits. Still, I decided to go hunt me up a S/S version and stone it, as the extra speed seemed more useful to it's play style. I ran a few d...

ANYTIME you beat this freaking combo is a reason to celebrate . I killed a Murk/DAH/Valk team with my mostly-for-fun Trap team (Fiendish Imp/Blue Clockwork Rocket-Bot/Pandaren Water Spirit) last night and literally stood up and grunted in victory!Kendrah wrote:I finally killed a death adder + val team today!

Re: OMG i suck at pvp pet battles HELP!!!!!!
its actuall quite easy, - get a valkyr, - get a deather adder s/s bread with 341 speed - and a dmf or springtail rabbit with spead >350 OR a fossile hatchling -> that will settle you to win every match if you read up on wowhead and here how to play them and make u nearly unbeatable Very true but ar...

Flayer Youngling murders Dragons, as well as Anubisath Idol using Crush and Sporeling Sprout with either of his first tier attacks. I like the Youngling/Idol best because of Deflection in case of Lift-Off/Charge.

Re: OMG i suck at pvp pet battles HELP!!!!!!
What exactly is giving you difficulty in pet PvP? It is difficult to give definitive answers without a better description of the problem. You have a very good stable of PvP pets, so you can build some strong teams. There is a very steep learning curve going from the AI controlled tamers to thinking ...

Re: Working the Willy
I very rarely run into Willy, but there is one person who uses him on a fairly effective team. The trio (with names) is normally: Krang (Willy) - He generally casts Rot then licks or swaps to Panda. Rocksteady (Mountain Panda) - Bite/Rock barrage/Mudslide. Mudslide makes this team fairly dangerous a...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I don't understand how the Death Adder hatchling goes with the valk? Someone please explain. Valk's free swap into a super fast pet that has Blinding Poison means lots of dmg while taking no hits (except the Valk before he gets Haunt off of course). And two, if I don't have the qiraji what's a grea...

If you want to play with slimes, get a P/P [pet]Jade Oozeling[/pet], now that one packs a wallop. I use him sometimes, and wish I could put him onto more teams. Basically, just about anything he gets both DoTs rolling on and maybe an Absorb that isn't aquatic or have SS/SS or some big heal is heade...

Re: Pet-racial strength
I also think you undervalue the beast racial. Theres 2 pets in particular that makes great use of it. Death Adder Hatchling and Xu-Fu. DAH using Vicious Fang, Cower and Blinding Poison. Thanks to its skyhigh speed, the snake can pop Cower to reduce incomming powerhits and with liberal use of Blindi...

Pet-racial strength
Just want to get some feedback from the community on what their idea of the best-to-worst pet racials. I will separate them into three categories; Strong (or extra strength), Middle-of-the-pack, and weak. This isn't to say that a particular racial is "weak" per se under certain circumstances, but as...

So the various teams I see people are talking about is out? I've wondered about those teams (like having an undead team.) Since you don't know what you'll get, how do you know if those teams will be any good? Is it just the luck of the draw? If I put together an undead team and I come up against a ...
