Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
What do you think of Peddlefeet as a 3rd pet? Peddlefeet also has a stun skill and with 325 speed, on paper it can provide the same utility function of the guardling, however, it just lacks the punch of normal attack power - his normal attack is around 305 dmg vs the crush of the guardling of 390 o...

Re: Fix Anubisath Idol!
yep, that's what I tested (the first one). Edit: also tested elementals vs sandstorm. Edit2: he thinks probably a server restart is needed for changes to take effect. We were discussing sandstorm there, so I don't know if that applies to the demolish bug. basically all the hotfixes he mentioned had...

Explode has 100% of hit but can be affected by blind / dodge / evade and even darkness and sandstorm.Dakaf wrote:

Demolish is really annoying though! Make the tooltip match and I'll make my teams based on them!

Re: Fix Anubisath Idol!
Considering the nearly consistent whining about misses on the official forums, I can easilly see why they caved in. But as you said, its created a monster that really can milk Demolish thanks to its defensive power. Its sad when people cave in to the entitlement generation wanting satisfaction here...

Regarding Demolish & blind hit bug - from Blizz
https://twitter.com/TheCrafticus/status/436699739464007680 1. Blizz admitted the real hit chance of Demolish is 65%. 2. Blizz claimed in 5.4.7, if hit chance will reach 0 or below, there can not be any hit. Well, many players tested and still found the hit bug exist - especially under the blind usin...

Very well said, I totally agree your points after think it over.Poofah wrote:The only downside is that the cooldowns don't mesh well.3wd wrote:I am actually thinking many people will try crouch now and giving up puncture especially if they use the adder to be more of an utility pet such as in a valk team.

Re: Interesting new pet changes theyve snuck in
Oh, that Crouch buff. Everyone was expecting a Death-adder nerf but he gets buffed instead. Does that mean death-adder will have %50 damage reduction buff whole fight? (Since he can ignore 2 attacks with blind) This is a very interesting point. I am actually thinking many people will try crouch now...

Re: PVP help~
I have a question concerning PvP...Is it really necessary to have the Crawling Claw ? Is there a pet that might work almost as well in it's place? The reason I ask is that I see in soooo many posts and in many convo's with folks that if you do not have one, you really are going to have a tough time...

Re: The Problem with Talking About the Pet Battle System
CT is not the end game for pet battling, it fact, there isn't really something can be called end game for PVE pet battling. The thing is : PVE pet battling in the current stage is so scripted and almost 99% of the fight can be calculated and be beaten without the effect of RNG. Someone mentioned Chi...

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
I added a couple PvP-related issues that I had forgotten. Can anyone comment on the Sleeping Gas bug? Sleeping Gas is known to be able to chain-sleep pets, in spite of Resilience. I'm wondering if this is because Resilience is not correctly proccing from Sleep abilities? Or, there is another oddity...

Re: Triple Crows Counter?
One of the most effective way to counter the raven team is by using undead team, and use all H/H undead.
A H/H undead pet can totally ignore your opponent's speed and this will cut their efficiency into half.
Lost of Lordaeron is one of the best undead pets to counter any raven team.

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
Sometime it happens when the elementals die during that 3 rounds of sons, but in some cases, the bug will happen when certain skills used on the other side, either way it's a very buggy skill. Can you list any specific skill that can cause it, when used on the other side? Farmer Nishi has a pet tha...

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
I've said this before on other threads, but just to reiterate: I use (and go against) Val'kyr all the time, and I have positively never seen her fail to revive from a Haunt when she is supposed to. The only times she fails to revive are when she is supposed to fail to revive (eg: when losing in a g...

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
1. Sons of the flame and Sons of the root both are having some issue which will cause the game to end prematurely. It could happen when the elemental pets were killed during that 3 rounds of sons or even can happen when their opponents will use some type of skills. I've had this happen once or twic...

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
Regarding the Valk failing to revive bug, it is mostly related to some sort of aoe skills. eg. If you will use cyclone which will do back row damage to your opponent, and when your opponent'r pet moved to the back row and killed by the cyclone and also with haunt on that pet, the valk will most like...

Re: bugs bugs bugs (5.4)
Add one more to the list : - this is specifically related to Fossilized Hatchling. After the hatchling will use a bonestorm, and then proceed to use either Bone bite of claw in the next round, sometime you will see some insane damage number doing to your pet. Both Bone bite and claw should do some w...

now, his hatchling will be almost for sure be dead, next round just use your normal rotation, get the guardling out and use stun kick, and then switch to the snake to blind him, so that he can't use the second aoe, with the help of COD, next round you can just use the poison fang or puncture and he...

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
I'd imagine a P/P emp crab with surge would be really effective here. Aquatic racial to reduce dot dmg, Shell Shield to reduce it further and to use on those turns you know an ability can't hit. A heal to cast on those turns also and Surge to sneak in damage when you can due to it's "Always goes fi...
