Re: Coins of Ancestry

I rolled a DK on the other faction to try and get my main both pets if one is on each side. Crossing fingers that preparation enough. That's a really good idea! If only I had thought of that before filling up my last slot with a freshly made warrior. Going from level 55 to about 70 is probably less...

Re: Coins of Ancestry

Sorry to piggy-back a different question on this thread. But are we sure that the pets are faction specific? I have not seen it written anywhere (sorry if it has been and I missed it). They come from the same vendor and don't have any faction marks other then the color. Again I have not seen it wri...

Coins of Ancestry

Does anyone remember from last year's Lunar Festival if there were any dailies that awarded the Coin of Ancestry? I ask this because I'm only counting 84 total Elders who award one coin each. The new Lunar Festival pet costs 50 coins each, and if the only way to get this currency is from talking to ...

Re: What do you think will happen to duplicate pets?

That's a toughy that I'm sure Blizzard will need to address before MoP! Honestly though, I just can't see how they would work in an account wide feature while maintaining all characters' collections separate and individual. My personal take on "Account wide" pets is that all your currently learned p...

Re: Stealthing pets question

Weird. None of the 2 Game Masters that I asked, both in-game and the web site, know about this. I even asked on their customer service message board. So far only 2 fellow players answered. It was never an officially announced or confirmed change, but players started reporting that rogue, mage, and ...

I took a screenshot in-game while using the addon MogIt. It's really handy for xmogging! There's an option in the drop down list in main window of the addon that shows your saved sets and "wishlist".

Re: Darkmoon Prize Tickets

Also be sure to submit a ticket if you encountered any bugged artifacts for this month's DMF (January). According to the updated blue post a GM should be able to compensate you with DMF Tickets for the bugged artifacts. If you get sent actual ticket items and the currency is not added directly to yo...

Re: Darkmoon Prize Tickets

There's now a blue poster confirming that artifacts will only drop in level-appropriate dungeons: "1. This was a bug that is being hotfixed. A character that is not level-appropriate for a dungeon should not get Monstrous Egg, Mysterious Grimoire, Imbued Crystal, or Ornate Weapon drops. This is irre...

From the yellow set - Warchief Kilt, which I cannot for the life of me get to drop despite running through Scarlet Monastery over and over.

From the green set - Jinxed Hoodoo Kilt

This seemed wrong when i was just skimming the text on this post :P ROFL! Well technically it's true, even if it's a bit dirty when taken out of context. XD Here are my xmog sets for my druid, as seen from the MogIt in-game addon: http://i.imgur.com/atVD0.jpg This is what my current getup is except...

Re: Darkmoon Prize Tickets

Happy New Year! :) This is the first day of the 2nd DMF, I collected the artifacts all month in anticipation of this faire...however it is not allowing repeated turn-ins of the items I redeemed last month (ie, Montrous Egg, Imbued Crystal). Is this a glitch or working as intended? You have that it ...

Re: Armor Collecting and Xmogging

I'm really irritated that it's restricted by armor type. I used cloth for ages because I could, but also because it just happened to be better than the leather I had at the time. Now all the cloth I've collected over the years is still stuck in storage. Ditto! I have so many pieces that I can't use...

Ditto! I'd much prefer getting Lumpy on my main collector than an alt, but as you said: Desperate times. *Nod* >_<

Re: Accountwide pets

Blizzard announced during Blizzcon 2011 that they do plan on making most (if not all) vanity pets account wide in the next expansion, but other than that they haven't released anymore information or details. It's still unknown what "account wide" means (will companions be accessible only for toons o...

he might even be BoE. I'd love it if Lumpy were BoE, but I wouldn't count on it. :( Both Wowhead and the official Battle.net armory are listing it as BoP. In any case, I'm hoping that it won't be too low of a droprate from the Stolen Present! PS: Not sure if it's a bug or if it's intended but Atlas...

Tiny Shale Spider

The Tiny Shale Spider is a companion pet that drops off of Jadefang , a rare spawn located in the Crumbling Depths area of Deepholm (level 82 - 83 zone). Expect some competition for this companion as there will not only be other pet collectors, but also hunters and rare spawn seekers who will be aft...

Mr. Grubbs

If you enjoyed farming for the Disgusting Oozeling then you are going to absolutely LOVE the Cataclysm pet Mr. Grubbs . However, there is a slight difference between farming for the oozeling and Mr. Grubbs. Before you can even go out and start killing a bunch of mobs in hopes for a special loot bag,...
