Re: Wild pets by zone
About 1:50 AM (server time), searching for the Restless Shadelings. Found them on the minimap but they're underground and I can't find a way to reach them EDIT: nevermind! Found them! As you face the Kara portal entrance, head into the ruined town. Find the cellar entrances (The Master's Cellar for ...

Re: Wild pets by zone
Aww, are the lil thorny lizards that run around Uldum not? I was hoping that I'd finally get myself a real lizard pet. Yes! The little warp stalker critter is flagged as a Wild Battle Pet, but they're currently only available in Badlands. Keep in mind that while these critters are tagged for battle...

Re: MoP pets and changes
How kosher is it to discuss datamined stuff on the boards again? Feel free to discuss the MoP beta and datamined information. Just remember that this is still the testing phase, so things could change and not everything is set in stone yet. Also, there are still a lot of unknowns at this point so m...

Re: Wild pets by zone
I don't know. Critter respawn rates aren't too bad. Unless Blizz starts adjusting that on the wild pets because of them being capturable. I'm not too worried about respawning and the like (so far). I just find it a bit unnerving (and hilarious at the same time) that a mob can come over and "steal" ...

Re: Wild pets by zone
I find it a bit unnerving that mobs will still run up to the critters tagged as Wild Battle Pets and kill them. Imagine seeing a critter, getting excited about battling it, whipping out your companion and getting all set up to duke it out........ and then a raptor swiftly runs over and noms the wild...

Re: new critters in MoP beta
For all the warp stalker lovers out there: just found spiky lizards in badlands on the beta. :) Sadly, the little murloc babies in the Blast Lands aren't considered critters and don't show up as Wild Battle Pets. :( The Clucker critters in Twilight Highlands haven't been flagged as Wild Battle Pets ...

Re: Mists of Pandaria Beta Realm
Nearly everything that's related to the new vanity pet features haven't been implemented in the beta yet. Here's what I've found so far: http://wowpetaddiction.blogspot.com/201 ... tters.html

Re: MoP pets and changes
So far the account wide pets feature isn't functioning on the beta yet. Trading, selling, renaming, battling and dueling vanity pets isn't working yet either. There are quite a few unknowns, but it's very early in the beta testing. We'll have to wait and see about more pet achievements and other pet...

Doob and I are on the Lost Isle (US) server. He'll be creating a horde WarcraftPets guild and I've already started the same for the Alliance side. Feel free to PST Quint for a beta guild invite!

Re: Equip prompt for BoU pets & mounts
I like the idea of implementing an optional prompt feature that you can turn on and off at your own discretion. Since people can't seem to fully agree on what needs a prompt and what doesn't, why not give everyone the power to decide for themselves? Perhaps something in the interface options that al...

Re: Equip prompt for BoU pets & mounts
I hope a fellow pet-loving GM fixes it for you. :( Since mounts and pets are getting even more popular these days, perhaps it's time Blizzard implemented the same prompt that's used for BoE pieces of gear. The one that asks if you're sure you want to bind the item to you by using it (or the prompt t...

I love love LOVE Candyspirit's outfit in that screenshot! Everything matches so perfectly. ♥

Re: Your first pet ever?
I started playing during vanilla WoW, and on my first run through Deadmines with some guildmates (who were trying to power level me XD), the Siamese Cat dropped. Everyone had one already so I was defaulted the pet. Despite it being so common, I really enjoyed having a little critter follow me around...

Fiona doesnt have any quests for me .. you must have to complete some pre-quests to get this going apparently.. Anyone have an actual chain of completion for these quests? Here's the full chain from Wowhead: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=45417#comments The optional breadcrumb quests are in the Wowhead...

Re: I'm looking for a random pet macro that...
I'm not savvy with script/macro writing at all so I refer to this page a lot for macros: http://www.wowpedia.org/Making_a_macro Afters skimming over it, I don't think a macro that excludes a certain type of pet is possible since there's no slot number for vanity pets (is there?) to include into the ...

Re: Profession Based Pets
A lot of good ideas. I especially like the origami pet and of course the parasite bug pet! :) I think the first aid pet should be a mummy *cough*ethereal*cough*. A mini-mummy! That would be awesome, although I'd prefer a different model than the ethereals. Something that actually looks like a typic...

Re: Profession Based Pets
Mine so far were: - Inscription - craftable kite or papier-mâché/origami critter. - Herbalism - a chance to loot a new lasher-type/flower companion (like the blue ones with a unique model from the Lawn of the Dead quest chain). Here's my shot at the rest (it was tough to come up with pets for these ...

Profession Based Pets
There are already quite a few BoE mini-pets that come from professions, but what if ALL professions (primary and secondary) had a BoE pet associated with it? I think that would be awesome! The big question: What pets would fit each profession though? (Either crafted or dropped but all BoE.) Here are...
