Re: Iron Starlette is becomming a rather familiar monster?
Hrm, did not realize Powerball jumped that fast, that does make the other breeds a good bit more appealing. Powerball is a really excellent move(+20% speed per powerball), while not powerful damagewise it does decent damage on undead as well. Best part is that the speed buff does not drop off, so y...

Re: Iron Starlette is becomming a rather familiar monster?
I think that Wind-Up, Powerball and Explode might be better, H/P breed or just P/P for slightly more powerful Powerballs. Wind-Up. Then Powerball for a while. Finishi the opponent with a Wind-Up. Then you are most probably faster and ready to Explode the scecond pet, depending on if you lost the fai...

Re: WoD Build 18927 pet changes
My usual Kovok setup got hit pretty hard. Will be interesting to see how it works out. Creeping Ooze seems a much nicer option even with the dot damage decrease. I feel a bit sorry for Pierre since Chop didn't do any big hits. Now that all these initial damage plus dot abilities work around the same...

Re: Pet of the Month - Fel Flame
I sometimes run a decently successful PvP team with a H/H Fel Flame. It can't really stand up to too many top pets on the same team so I mainly use it for a nice change of pace. H/H Fel Flame(Burn,Scorched Earth,Immolation) Kovok(Poison Fang,Digest Brains,Black Claw) Son of Animus(Metal Fist/Batter,...

Vengeful Porcupette will clear that right up for you. Two and you are set. If you don't want to go double use a minefield and an elemental as well.

And check this forum Guide here on warcraftpets. Probably the guide I use most often.

Re: What are you training?
Sell your gained xp as a leveling service? About the only thing you can do is fine-tune pet breeds. Like you don't have a P/P Azure Crane Chick for example. Try grabbing a S/S Bonkers(yea it sucks hunting for Bonkers breeds). There is a 305 Power Ghostly Skull if you are into that. Lil' Bad wolf com...

Chibimage, I couldn't find a way to contact you without posting on the forum. It just seems that your vid for Jeremy Feasel is incorrectly linked to the Yu-La video.

Re: Humanoid/undead counters
Speaking of the Vengeful Porcupette. I just had a battle were mine started off against a Direhorn. My V.Porcupette was left standing with 73 health. In came a Stitched Pup. Now I got a triple-hit Flank with one crit, Pup missed its bite. Double-hit Flank, one crit, to kill the Pup while the pup did ...

Re: Humanoid/undead counters
Don't think I have ever gotten the Tiny Sporebat do work well. While Creeping Fungus actually will deal decent damage even through a sandstorm if you plan on taking out Idols you have to prepare for weather change mindgames. Also if you run into a crab that sporebat is screwed. Like you said Foxes/W...

Re: Good all-around Beast pet?
But that's the beauty of Xu-Fu and prowl. Prowl gives you two attacks and there's that lovely blessed resilience. Feeding with a prowl while having him on a sunlight team is awesome. You just feed on the next turn and get like 1k HP back. XD A stun or dodge will completely nullify Prowl and resilie...

Re: Spectral Kitten
I pretty much only use it AGAINST Call Darkness teams. The bird uses Call Darkness, kitten does spectral strike and kills the bird. And with a bit of luck you can do leap and be faster than the second bird as well and possibly kill that one too.

Re: Sunflower team?
You might win a game once in a while. Then your opponent will switch to a Jademist Dancer and take out your entier team.
I would suggest leveling more diverse pets instead. But if this is something you really want by all means try it.

Re: Good all-around Beast pet?
Right now the beast family has my favourite pets. But it is starting to get a bit silly, dangerous and stupid when I more and more got with three beasts. One mech and I am screwed. :) I will focus mainly on PvP aspect, can't really say that I have any general PvE beast pet. Mr. Grubbs and the other ...

Re: Lil' Rag's Trap
Blinding Poison, from Death Adder Hatchling, will make the trap miss completely. Either if you are lucky enough to blind on the turn the trap is put down, then it will disappear. Or you can blind and then switch and the trap will miss. Like Kpb321 said, you can get lucky with Dodge. I also have been...

Re: Enter Celestials at your own risk......
While you do have a good amount of level 25 pets(177 according to your warcraftpets Collection) you do seem to have a huge amount of duplicates in those 177(like 3 emeral proto whelp, 3 emperor crab, 3 shore crab, 3 valks, 3 snowy owls, 3 kun-lai runts and so on). In reality you need about 50-60 of ...

Re: Did you know??? - pet abilities
Sear Magic type abilities will also remove things like Ice Tomb, Geyser, Whirlpool. Focus apparently affects how many hits you will make with Triple Snap... or was that only come WoD? Ice Barrier will also block delayed effects. For example if your opponent has used Spore Shrooms on you. Cast Ice Ba...

Re: Pet of the Month - Crow
I rarely use the the Crow or Raven, except on Dos Ryga as backup. But I often run into them in PvP. As mentioned it is very nice to have an elemental pet to switch in after they have cast Call Darkness, since their Nocturnal Strike now will only have 40% hit chance. Other things I like to do, if I d...
