If you are currently logged in you have to log completely out for it to show up in your mail (not just to the character list -- I tried that).

Re: Murkalot
My first two tamers are Bordin Steadyfist & Brok. On Brok, the carry pet leads. I looked to see what meaningless attack Murkalot would miss with before swapping out. lol [ability]Shieldstorm[/ability]. A carry pet that actually contributes something to its own leveling from the second tamer on- that's a first.
Re: Murkalot
He seems to be 1449 health, 322 power, 253 speed at 25. So much for the idea he'd have so-so stats.

Re: Murkalot
Just got mine also! Murkalot animations looks awesome, especially with a Magical Pet Biscuit to double his size.
Re: Murkalot
I was messing around with him in PvP tonight. A couple of notes that differ from the tooltips.
Blessed Hammer is actually 3 hits for 1/3 the listed damage each. If you have any +damage debuff applied a flyer will vaporize.
Righteous Inspiration doubles *all* damage that your team does on the turn the swap happens as well as the following turn. It's not just a doubling of the next pet's attack, but also any poisons, pheromones, or effects like Geyser or Whirlpool that are about to go off. The swap itself appears to be random choice, and not based off of health.
A well timed dodge/burrow/lift-off will shut down this bomb, but in PvE this is better than Howl for the Water Spirit combo. You get a doubling of the water effects, and if the active pet dies you still have an attack waiting that is also doubled for whatever gets swapped in.
Note that the swap is not free in the same way as the Scaled Basilisk. The enemy pet will execute its turn and deal damage against whatever pet you swap in. This is another reason why Shieldstorm is looking quite strong.

Re: Murkalot
Yes same here, Armory hasn't found out yet that Murkalot exists...
Re: Murkalot
OMG! He's so kewt! I was thinking that Moon Moon's dance was kewtness personified, but his animation is almost as nice. That pet swap skill make plvling him very easy too. It always goes first so you put him up front and the pet he gets swapped out for has an awesome damage buff for one round. lawl~
Re: Murkalot
Got mine as well... 30 minutes later it was level 25
Sux that Armory doesn't list it at collected though.

Re: Murkalot
He's in my armory... and was last night when I logged out of WoW and updated here. I don't know why he wouldn't show for you.Dawayn wrote:Yes same here, Armory hasn't found out yet that Murkalot exists...
Re: Murkalot
I'm sorely tempted to stump up the money for a virtual ticket just for Murkalot; I doubt I'd actually watch any of the coverage. I've always made a point of never spending any real money on WoW, outside of the monthly subscription and purchasing the expansions, but I may make an exception here.
