Re: High Priority Pets to lvl (please add to this if you wan
Missing from your list is a P breed toad/frog. The low lvl 1's are toad and huge toad, but might want to get the hh huge toad as its a unique breed. Then higher lvl, you have the biletoad which comes in PS, and yellow bull frog which has a pp. Also a tiny harvester and PS blue rocket Bot (usually c...

Re: Spirit Tamer Leveling *Recon*
the spirit tamer dailies will provide you with an endless supply of lesser pet treats. I never fight anything anymore without at least a +25% XP buff. I don't think I've gotten a single pet treat from them. I do 3 of them every day (often skip Thundering because.. well, because). I get my pet treat...

Re: celestial tournament and hard-to-get pets
It's asking someone to do the work for them. I agree with your whole post, but especially that line. I love talking strategy, and posting teams that worked (and why), and trying to get good overall guides produced. But c'mon. You can beat this thing if you're just smart about the family strengths/w...

Re: Moon Moon
Grey vendor trash is what she drops now whenever she doesn't drop something special. All the hotfix really did. Heh, figures. I wonder if the hotfix was worth it. Having nothing to loot at all vs. looting but receiving vendor trash the majority of the time. I suppose it feels better to loot somethi...

Re: Moon Moon
Is it possible that the sooner you loot her, the better your odds of getting Moon Moon? I usually waited until it cleared out a bit before looting and I would guess that I got the shroud about 50% (or so it seems)of the time. This morning on my first run I was first or second to loot and Moon Moon ...

Re: PvP Combo's
I was thinking about doing the Immolation crew, with some force-swaps. Two back line pets ticking an 8 round DoT on the current pet seems "Good" to me.

Re: 5.4 Guide to Master Tamer (levelling) + Beasts of Fable
I tried splitting the guide into two posts and I still couldn't update, so I guess there are just times when the server is too overloaded to handle a large post like this. I'd really love for an admin to tell me (us) what if any restrictions/limitations there are so I can better prepare the guide t...

Re: PvP Combo's
I haven't done even one PvP queue'd battle. I've battled against friends a little, but no randoms.
I should just jump in, I guess, but I can't decide what my first PvP team should be.

Re: Collected Celestial Tournament Undercard Strategy
I was thinking that that would be it, but what if the best strategey is to use ability 1 twice in a row? For example, Peck, Peck, Flock? Those notes aren't what your actual battle rotation is. When the rotation is included, it's in text below it and we don't refer to the abilities by "number" in th...

Re: 5.4 Guide to Master Tamer (levelling) + Beasts of Fable
Out of curiosity, why do you list the lower level tamers (optional) near the end of the route? I usually do them first, because the pet is less likely to die, and gets more xp if they're closer in level to the tamer's pets. I basically reverse your route, and start with Accoste each day. I don't do ...

Re: Your top 5 battle pets!
My battle MVPs are (PVE): 1) [pet]Anubisath Idol[/pet] - I think he's arguably the best pet in the game. He can grind it out against almost anything. 2) [pet]Flayer Youngling[/pet] - Combination of near-guaranteed stun, avoidance, and decent Humanoid attack makes him also able to solo most anything....

Re: Moon Moon
Mine dropped on the 7th kill. In-game it says it's a P/S, but on WarcraftPets it says S/S. Not sure which is correct >_< Brand new pets are hard for the various tools to parse. I know when I got my Ruby Droplet, my UI said it was P/S. When it leveled off the first tamer, it changed to B/B. I think ...

Re: Collected Celestial Tournament Undercard Strategy
Out of curiosity, do we really need another strategy thread on the CT? That's fair, but my thread isn't asking for strats (like the OP in the one I responded to.) Yes, I could have compiled this list in the "main" thread, but I wanted easy bookmarking (not: "see pg 10 for compilation!") I hop...

Re: Collected Celestial Tournament Undercard Strategy
The first combo listed for each team (Feral Vermling/Stunted Yeti/Yellow Moth for Sully "Pickle" McLeary, for example) doesn't appear to have strategy details or chosen abilities (2/1/2 for example) listed with the pets, unlike the alternate team choices.. is this because they're just so obvious to...

Re: 5.4 Guide to Master Tamer (levelling) + Beasts of Fable
Here's a rough, first draft at describing The Work: The Work is collecting data from a number (10? 20?) of trials for how many rounds it took to beat the tamer. Most people won't want to wait 20 days before posting, so they'll have to simulate kills and forfeit late in the fight once the matter is ...

Re: Nishi buffed in 5.4?
I've gotten into the habit of saving carry pets with non-sunny weather effects for Nishi. While it's perfectly possible to beat him during sunshine, it's much faster, easier and more reliable in any other weather. There's bound to always be some pet you want to level that has a weather spell, so ju...
