Re: Beta testers: feedback wanted (pet dailies)
Does anyone know how to upgrade your garrison past level 1. I haven't found any plans, so I feel stuck. I'd like to try out the pet battle stuff.

Re: Nature's Ward vs. Call Darkness
Neither elemental ward nor Rot change your racial. All they do is change what type of damage is strong/weak against you. You are still have a critter racial...you are just strong versus mechanical attacks and weak vs aquatic attacks (for elemental ward)

Are you able to get a level 2 garrison without an alchemist yet?Quintessence wrote:Day 2 at my garrison menagerie: "Challenge Post" visits with two legendary pets, Brutus and Rukus.

Re: Grizzle (Major Payne)
The interesting thing about rampage is if you let him hit you with it once and then use an interrupting ability the next round he can no longer rampage. It makes him heal more often, but I am able to kill him fairly quickly with a hopling using just the poison and tongue lash (neither of which does ...

Re: Help me Beta Test Pets!
(base damage - S1 - S2 - ....) * (B1 + B2 -D1 - D2 + ....) The problem is that in this case, the shield has to multiply to determine how much damage it should subtract. It's doing that before percent-based modifiers, thus it's not shielding 50% of the actual damage, it's only shielding 50% of the p...

Re: Same Exact Pets, Different Score?
You have your treasure goblin leveled (+1 point) and her collection doesn't show it levelled. That is the difference. It could be a bug in how it imported into her account. It doesn't show a level for hers so it is acting like a guild herald or argent squire kind of pet. This is probably something f...

Re: Help me Beta Test Pets!
They probably weren't. The mechanics were in pet battles before they were added. However, I am fairly certain they know it is happening and they haven't decided to change it as of yet. I'm not sure it is a bug to be fixed though. That's a pretty intentional system. It's been in the game a long time ...

Re: Help me Beta Test Pets!
Actually, the shattered defenses debuff is treated the exact same way on a normal pet as it is on a legendary. You can also test against a normal enemy with crouch. If you wait for the alpine foxling to crouch and then stampede, you'll do between 20 and 25 damage on the first turn, but once shattere...

Re: Howl Bomb Variations
I use Skull, Water Spirit and Chrominius for the Chi-Chi part of the tourney and I think the only time I failed using that set up was something like the Water Spirit getting crit to death prematurely. If you switch to just Water Spirit and Chi-Chi (drop the skull), then Chi-Chi cannot crit kill you...

I wouldn't get two excited about apocolypse just yet:

If you use Rematch for your battle pet teams addon (or searching addon), it has an option to resummon the correct pet after a team switch.

Re: Howl Bomb Variations
Maybe I'm confused, but when I use this sort of strategy I open with Unholy Ascension and not Haunt, so that's why I suggested Ghostly Skull. So: Unholy Ascension, swap, Geyser, Whirlpool, swap, Howl, Surge of Power if needed. Edited to confirm that you don't rez after UA. But this strategy does st...

thanks for the earlier response about the colors earlier. Since I couldn't figure out how to see that text you displayed in the upper post, I played around with it today in Rematch and figured out: cFFFF2020burn (you provided this one) cFF0070ddchill cFF9933ffblind cFF1eff00poison Those are the only...

Re: Favorite Breeds?
As a note, with the senjin fetish, the rotation is usually very simple: kill the elemental with your rabbit swap to fetish on the round where the slime comes out Flame Breath x4 and the slime is dead. Bonus: If the slime manages to miss an attack and your fetish ends up having it's undead round on t...

Re: Best Daily Tamer Route (Pandaria)
I usually suggest splitting off the Beasts of Fable as a separate run. You only need to do them 2-3 times per week to get enough EXP treats. This is my route (sans the beasts) that takes 1 hour: Jade Forest -> Whispering -> Thundering -> Vale of EB -> Valley of the FW -> Krasasong Wilds -> Flowing -...

Re: Favorite Breeds?
When I go the rabbit route vs the Thundering, I pair it with the Sen'jin Fetish (Voodoo Figurine also works). The Senjin Fetish so far has never failed me and has a 100% damage move so you don't have to worry about misses. You can basically Flame Breath the slime down and the undead round gives you ...

Re: Addon Rematch
Not really a bug per say, but an oddity: Since keywords like burning and chilled have a different internal text format than what you see on the screen, searching can sometimes be impacted. You can search for "Burning" and get all the pets that cause burning, that rely on burning, and that are from t...

Re: the (infamous) Elekk Plushie
Though lightning storm also makes use of the additive damage bonus feature. I think the additive is less of a bug and more of a design choice didn't plan for future (BoF, Celestials, etc) battles well.
