Re: Bonkers: Multiple Breeds, Not Cageable
Your problems ... I spend at least 30k coins for keys (not counting in the repaid coins, so probably 40k or more) - and finally got my first today - and its neither pp or ss ... no its hp ... and I see You again damned Cave of the Chests ...

Re: Unborn Val - is this a glitch?
There is another one with the Valk: it seems you can't kill it anymore by accidently killing the haunted pet - now the Valk comes back even if Haunt was still ticking. Realized it while fighting the 3-monk-team.

Re: Dusty (whispering pandaren spirit battle)
Thread ninjaed
The most interesting fact is: the Valkyr doesn't stay dead anymore if the enemy dies before haunt is over - makes it much more viable in pvp and pve (although I don't use it anywhere).
So far the only change I noticed.

Re: PvP Broom/Skull/Direhorn Guide
OK, so its my turn I guess :P Well, I used a similar team, with the p/p direhorn just for the exact reason You described - to finish the opponent off or at least to put some pressure on him if necessary (more than one switcher, more than one direhorn, 3 undead f.e.). I used Direhorn/Grell/Bone Spide...

Re: PvP Broom/Skull/Direhorn Guide
ok that damned forum ate my long post, bah. ... However, what you describe is not that special as it sounds, in fact it really IS reliant on your Direhorn although you don't want to see it (and the fact that you mentioned the s/s crow as viable alternative shows what I mean). You need that special f...

Re: Top 5 best pets for PVP
I am surprised no one mentioned Gregarious Grell . 289 speed, Burn / Phase Shift / Cauterize He can take a lot of damage, is 3 rounds out of 5 simply imune to damage (when faster), and can be a pain to kill. He may not look that special, but he is my favorite pet atm. Cauterize lets him eat any dama...

Re: Glorious pet battle failures!
Seeing the Idol coming in (while good old Shelob (aka Giant Bone Spider) is up) I regularly dot him before knocking him out ... only to be corrected by the following sandstorm ;) Not really a failure as it nearly never is about to break the match, but on the other hand there aren't much possibilitie...

She is great against all the Humans - but then again: I wonder who ever switches in a Human against an Undead

Re: How does Haunt work
Haunt works as if the Pet was dead while Haunt is active, all debuffs and buffs are still there (hidden) and start to count down again when she is alive again, so CoD is very, very ineffective against Haunt. Haunt is also very ineffective if Your enemy forces you to damage the haunted pet - you may ...

Re: Seriously when are they going to NERF direhorns!!
Funny how the KRL somehow became "fine", while the Direhorns aren't ;) There is only ONE thing Blizzard should implement: not being able to use more than one pet with the same moveset - and all is fine, but that won't happen I guess. One direhorn alone is dangerous but manageable, especially if You ...

Re: Best Place to level your Level 1's
There are enough Tamers to let you safely level up even lvl 1 pets. I only do the MoP-Tamers, and only about every second or third day now, but Nishi, Hyuna, Yon, Aki, the Earth Elemental and Zushi are killable by 2 pets and cant kill a lvl 1 (if you switch them in the right moment). Depending on yo...

Re: Deadly Pet Brawler
There is some marginal point you all seem to miss? The spider is gets eaten by any critter in no time True, everything has a counter. But critters are in a bad place right now due to the prevalence of Direhorns, as you said, and this team uses a Direhorn in part to protect the spider from critters....

Re: Victory and Frustrating teams
i typically dislike forced pet swap teams, too cheap really, i guess you could say that about any teams, but it doesnt matter, wish always heals 50% health, reguardless of which pet it hits, its gonna heal them No it doesn't (at least with forced petswap) ;) Example: I often play with the Broom (Id...

Re: Blossoming Ancient - a horrible idea
This kind of "Meatshield"-Team already exists (even more effective I guess) Ever tried Idol+Stinker (Sandstorm and double heal), played them together with a Broom since December, its a fearsome combo that has nearly no weakness if played correctly. Only very few teams can stand against them if playe...

Re: 5 Round Death to Dos Ryga
Try using the P/P raptors with their debuff and stampede ... nice numbers, even without switching ;) PS: There are "Countdowns/Debuff-Combos" in PvP where you can not switch out - you have to eat them (and they are painfull) or just have a Deflect or something ready (most don't have because this spe...

Re: Countering Kun Lai Runts
May work on new pvp-players, but anyone else would soon switch to something more comfortable and scary for your bunny instead of watching you slowly taking down his potential thread to most other pets you may have with you. In fact, the earlier the KLR is in the less thread he offers - if you can sw...

Re: Gorespine - Beast of Fable
Better: First Yeti (Charged up Lightning Storm), then let him in till he dies (usually 2-3 rounds). Then switch in the Cogblade S/S, Expose+Batter together with Lightning Storm does about 1000damage/round - nothing more needed. You really need very bad luck to not succed with these 2 against the bea...
