Re: Which pet to use?
I'm a little lazy so I won't look at your list specifically, but here's a list of highly recommended pets that have shown me they are worthy of MPV status and if you don't have them as rares already, I recommend getting/upgrading them. Hopefully it helps some ;) Magical Crawdad Molten Hatchling Cele...

Re: Best breed for Sporeling Sprout?
I think I would go with one of these for this guy: 9, 19 (Health/Speed) 5,15 (Speed) 6, 16 (Health) He's a "tank", as in his damage output is not incredible, but he's very long/hard to take down due to different heals and damage reduction. Crouch, like mentioned earlier, will benefit a bunch from hi...

Re: Nexus Whelpling question
I would definitely go with the Power one, simply for Tail Sweep. The maximum Power breed will be the slowest of all 3 available breeds for this pet, and the slower you are, the more chances you have to deal extra damage with Tail Sweep. Plus considering all your stats enhancements will be in Power, ...

Re: Fluxfire Feline change in 5.2 :(
I think what they want to nerf is more the Fluxfire Feline himself than the supercharge+wind-up combo. The cleansing rain+pump combo does deal pretty good damage too, that's true, but it's not an absolutely sure kill in 3 rounds like the supercharge+wind-up combo is. Also, the Fluxfire Feline is mor...

Re: Battle Stones from Wild Pets: Level Difference Calculati
The Pandaren Spirit Tamer bags do not give stones--only the regular Pet Supply bags. I'm at the point where I get mildly excited to see a stone in my pet supply bag, and then I get annoyed that it's not a Magic stone. Extra annoyed if it's Beast or Critter. Oh seriously? that's lame about the panda...

Yeah there's what 536 unique pets?
You can have max what, 600 now?
You can have maximum 3 of one pet, but nowhere close to the 1608 pet slots you'd need to have 3 of each

Not all pets are cageable/tradeable
All wild pets are non-cageable/non-tradeable

Re: Battle Stones from Wild Pets: Level Difference Calculati
No idea about the level difference being a factor or not, but getting battle stones to drop from wild pet battles feels like running Heroic Auchenai Crypts for the Raven Lord Mount. In other words, pretty close to a waste of time. I think I've gotten something like 8-10 battle stones so far, and I t...

Thanks Poofah that was a good analysis! Are you sure Rock Barrage has a high miss rate though?? I don't see it mentioned in the tooltip, and I haven't been playing with him enough to notice myself There's gotta be a table somewhere with the hit chance of each ability uh? I think I saw one somewhere ...

How to use Pandaren Earth Spirit
Hey all, I've recently leveled my Pandaren Earth Spirit to 25, but I am finding it difficult to decide what abilities to give him. This is what he has: Slot 1: - Stone Rush (1 round cooldown): Deals 119 damage and 51 to self. - Stone Shot (no cooldown): Deals 68 damage. Slot 2: - Rupture (3 rounds c...

Flayer Youngling or Fluxfire Feline work great on the bear too
Any elemental with good damage output will do vs Mechanopeep
Last pet is a joke compared to the first two.. any aquatic would do I think

Bring out your low level and finish it off. You did it once, got lucky that your level 10 got a hit on a 25, and thought this was the way to go? Not quite. I level pets level 2 with my 25s. I'm not going to rely on an extreme luck that he might be able to deal the 1 damage point missing to kill the...

Re: Looking for universal team for farming trainers
Flayer Youngling and Celestial Dragon are indeed quite the MPVs when it comes to battling Trainers The following pets are also quite handy for these: - Magical Crawdad (vs some elementals or critters or any pet that does lots of DoTs or multi-attacks) - Any rare moth (vs aquatics) - Fluxfire Feline ...

Re: What is fastest way to level?
Just to update, a flayer is indeed absurd vs the water spirit: triple snap/reflect/rampage, he'll kill the skimmer and spirit. Just wanted to add to this. The Water Spirit usually starts with his two high damage delayed attacks (whirlpool + the one that stuns). They usually are timed to pop in the ...
