New Addon: PetShoppingList

Hi guys,

I got frustrated trying to keep track of the pets I was missing, that could be bought off the AH, so I made an Addon called PetShoppingList. (Grab it from Curse -- I can't link due to post restrictions)

It hooks into Auctionator and saves a Shopping List in Auctionator of all the missing pets, and keeps it up to date as you gain pets.

You can also type /petshoppinglist to get a selectable/editable list of all the missing battle pets, for importing into other auction Addons.

I will also endeavor to add compatibility for other Addons as people request it.

It scans the in game Pet Journal for Tradeable pets, so it will always be up to date.

Can it also add tradeable pets that I have as uncommon to check for upgraded (rare) versions on AH? I would immediately download this and Auctionator if it could I don't mean that the AH search should be able to tell the difference between uncommon/rare, rather just that those pets could be added to the shopping list as well.

This is a great idea!

In my experience, Auctionator already seems to split the Uncommon and Rare pets and shows both when you search.
It (Auctionator) doesn't split the different breeds though.
With another addon showing what versions of what Pets you have (e.g one that puts the Quality/Breed on the tooltip) you can quite easily find upgrades.

I think the easiest way to add this feature initially will be to make a second shopping list called "Upgradeable Battle Pets"

I installed it and tried to use it, but I must be doing something wrong. I have auctioneer and it doesn't show a list - also, when I txped in /petshoppinglist, I just got an error message. If I didn't know better, I would think that I'd forgotten to activate it for the char, but it is active.

Also tried disabling Trade Skill Master with no change - any ideas?

Sounds like get Auctionator or wait for it to be compatible with Auctioneer....

I like the idea though at the moment my wish list is pretty small. However WOD released today so that may change. I'll give it a shot sometime.
