Rematch Addon Teams!

Post by Morebeer » October 8th, 2014, 9:27 am

Thought I would start this thread and see if it catches on. Since the addon Rematch has a team export button I wanted to share one of my teams. I have been using PetBattleMaster for ages so I don't have a lot of teams setup at the moment, but I will start with this one for Obalis!

Obalis:66824:339:515:647:334:1322:113:647:282:716:380:382:383:

Just copy here and click the import button on Rematch then CTRL-V to paste it in there!!!!

I am going to try this just to see if the import works and whatnot.

And I'm sure I'll look at your team, too, lolz.

This is a great idea.

Maybe this is too crazy, but perhaps each team should have a quick list of the pets with breeds included so that we know if we have the pets in our collection. What happens if you don't have a pet (or one of that breed), does the mod just ignore that slot?I'll try to remember to test this tonight.

Do you mean:

1. You want to know how to import those strings posted here to create a team
2. You want to know how to generate those strings from one of your already created teams
3. You want to know how to manually create a team inside the addon and it is not related to the strings posted here at all.

You create the team in your pet journal, and it changes in the Rematch window as well. Then there is a 'save' icon in the bottom right corner.

I love the idea of a list of shared teams!

It's also drag and drop in the addon. If you are in the "Pet" tab of the addon, you should see 3 slots at the top that represent your current team. Below that is the list of pets. You can drag from that list into those top 3 slots. After that you can see that each pet slot also has 3 smaller ability slots next to it. You use those to set the abilities.

Once you have pets and moves setup, use the save button near the bottom of the addon and it will popup with a box that asks about saving the team and lets you type in a name. If you want to have auto load for the team, type in the name of the Tamer you want "exactly" how it is spelled punctuated. Then hit save. Then if you navigate to the "Teams" tab you should see the team there.

Alternate Method: Once you have pets and moves setup from the first paragraph, fly out to the tamer you want to use the team on. Target the tamer, then hit the save button at the bottom of the addon. The popup will appear but will already have the name field filled out for you. Save it.

If you wish to setup a team with a levelling slot, then follow the same steps in the top paragraph, but do the following also: In the pets list in the "Pet" tab, right click on a non 25 pet and select start levelling. This will add it to the queue on the right side of the addon. Now hover your mouse over the pet in the queue list and drag that to the top area. You'll notice a solid gold border around that slot. That means, the current pet in your queue will always go there. The methods for saving the team are the same.

All of that was off the top of my head, so I might have made a few mistakes, but I hope that helps.

Hello all.

New to the site and also the Rematch addon. Have been using Pet Battle Teams but have been having issues with it. It was working and now it isn't so thought I'd check out Rematch.

Haven't installed it yet but will be doing so today and importing teams from PBT.

Was thinking if anyone is interested I could export my teams and post them here. The teams I have are setup to do the Daily Tamer quests as mentioned earlier by Haghala but also have teams for the Beast Of Fable quests. The daily teams are setup to allow a levelling pet. Also have teams for the Celestial Tournament that are set up with a minimum of pets (I think 18 from memory) so there is some strategy involved in healing during the tournament.

If anyone is interested I can post the teams and the links to the guides for the strategies involved although I suspect most serious pet battlers know all the information already.
