Nevermore - most useless ability?

Post by Waynebrady » May 6th, 2014, 8:56 am

Does it even work on tamers? I have yet to see it work on any tamer, it just goes off, gives me a 10 round CD, that's it.

What would be the purpose of this ability?

I've never used it on a Tamer but you can use it to prevent a wind-up and use ability from firing (such as Wind-Up, Barrel Toss, Lock On, and Build Missile) or you can use it to lock down a pet with High CDs; for example the Thundering Pandaren spirit's Earth Spirit, if you lock him out of Stone Shot, he can't do anything for the next 3 turns.

My preference is for the first one, preventing multi-use moves from firing.

If you time it right, it can prevent something like Dos Ryga from using his heal. But it's all about the timing.

I like to use it in PvP against Unborn Valks to see what they do without Haunt :)

I don't think it prevents the first cast, just any that follow it for 5 rounds.
