The best of the new mechanical pets ...

I'm trying to decide whether to buy one of the new engineering pets (rascal-bot: it's going for 9k on my server, which is a fairly good price) or should I save up for blackfuse? I don't really have good luck with pet drops (save just recently with Moon Moon -- I got two this week ... somehow) nor do I have an engineer even close to 600. I just figure I might as well buy the two of them with the gold it would take to plvl an engineer. XD~

But I'm not certain which is best to go for. Blackfuse is still like 20k ~ 30k on the AH. Rascal and Pierre prices are dropping. Which would you shot for first in my place?

Personally I wasn't too impressed when I did a battle against Rascal or Pierre, but more impressed w/ fused bombing. I don't have any of the yet..getting close on my engineering, but I have fought against all three and blackfuse would be my first choice as far as pet battles goes.

Seeing as you have Murkalot, the bombling is a no-brainer. Been racking up a stupid amount of wins with Kovok/Murkalot/Bombling, playing it as Poofah suggested in this post. The setup has a very high win %, takes minimal amounts of thought and makes for quick games. Not necessarily the most fun you could have in pet battles (though killing a triple direhorn team in 4 rounds is immensely satisfying), but if you're looking to rack up some quick wins then it's the way to go.

Well I haven't finished leveling murkalot ( sparkacus ) and I don't have a kovok ( though I wish I did ) because it kicks my ass in battles so I'm working on counters for it, but will get sparkacus leveled hopefully tomorrow and do some damage ) It wouldn't hurt my feelings for quick wins and to be able to get my titles: however: I don't see that happening either

Ahh, that explains why I've seen this team so often. Thought it was all the same guy.

I still usually beat it though. Gotta love the noticeable pause you get when your Anubisath smashes Kovok in 2 round, and you can see your opponent going "Oh hey, what just happened"

Go for the bombling especially if it's a P/P breed.
