Etheral Credit farming

Post by Simmias » October 11th, 2013, 6:38 am

So I snagged a great deal on a Soul Trader and was wondering where the best place to farm the credits for the outfit and pet mutagen.

Edit: So far I've been using the cannons near the golden lotus and gaining about 500 every 10 mins. Anyone know of a better spot for a 90?

Could you specify the location a bit more? The full costume set requires 2,2k credits iirc, and with your rate I'd be done in 30 mins. O.O

Requires you to be on http://www.wowhead.com/quest=30266, so farming the sets for low lvl alts is out if you do it this way.

Timed it myself, on average I'm getting around 400-430 credits every 10 mins. About 40 kills a minute. Seems very slow to me for a 90.

Just remember to summon your pet again once you jump in the turret lol.

I normally kill the Razorback Snappers in Valley of the Four Winds. Level 86, so just makes the cut for a level 90 to farm credits. They're easy to kill, nicely grouped up and have a really fast respawn time.

You could also kill the non elite turtles on the island. Low health and fast respawn. Plus possible gear to use.

I am kind of sad this pet ended up being a dupe, I was really proud of having my Ethereal Soul-Trader out all the time, now it seems like everyone has one.

Ditto.

Everyone most certainly does not have one. Me especially!

I haven't tried recently, but i suspect that the Broken Isle imps would be pretty good for that, especially if the WQ on the northwest island is up. Considering that the WQ usually takes less than 30 seconds, you could probably hit 1 credit per second.

Brilliant idea! Thank you.
Can you actually wear the clothes he sells?

Did the Trader ever stop working while with you in a high level zone? I did well enough in Shadowmoon Valley but he would not work in Talador or Frostfire Ridge. I tried logging on and logging back in. =((
