Farmer Nishi Video (Two-pet Speedrun Strat)

Post by Hazelnuttygames » July 29th, 2013, 3:00 pm

Ah, Farmer Nishi- easiest of the Pandaria dailies. Nobody really needs an actual strategy for this trainer. I did, however, get tired of her healing like a resto druid on steroids. I spent some time experimenting with different strategies to get this trainer done in a reasonable amount of time and made a video for the quickest reliable strategy I could find that didn't involve rare pets.

If you don't feel like watching a video, the short version is Eternal (or mirror) strider (water jet/cleansing rain/pump), Darkmoon Zeppelin (for burst- missile/decoy/bombing run) and the leveling pet. I find that the damage from Pump with the cleansing rain buff burns through the first two pets in no time. My fastest time with this strategy is 3:17.

Does anyone else time their dailies? Any more efficient strategies? I love hearing about the various different ways to do these.

Thanks Hazel..
My strat was using the turnip with wave, whittling down the back pets.. and while it works well.. it aint fast :(
Once the two back pets were down, I broke out a strider to finish off Siren.. but 30+ rounds gets a tad old quick..

There is a thread dedicated to the sole purpose of doing trainers as fast as possible with 2 pets. This is not the fastest.
For nishi the fastest would be with an Eternal Strider breed 8, or P/S
round
1 leveling pet
2 strider
3 cleansing rain
4 pump (charge)
5 water jet
6 water jet
7 water jet - flower dies
8 pump (attack)
9 cleansing rain
10 pump (charge)
11 water jet - turnip dies
12 pump (attack)
13 pump (charge)
14 pump (attack) - worm dies unless you got crit or you missed.
In case of bad rng second pet should be one with ion cannon.

I use Spawn of G'nathus and two leveling pets.
One day I'll kill them all in the one round, yesterday I was only 26HP away from getting them all in the same round.

Having said that neither of our strats is 'fast' which is what Hazel was talking about. Their are a few different ways of doing it fast though, as listed above.
