Initiate Tamer battles

So my daughter reactivated her account. Totally separate battle.net account. She started leveling pets and did the whole get a pet to level 3 and learn to use the stable master etc. but she has yet to get the EK tamer quests.

I cannot remember, isn't that suppose to be automatic once you have a pet to level 3 or 4 or something? She's got a handful of pets now to level 7 and 8 but still no EK tamer quest.

Should I open a ticket with Bliz?
