Renaming Pets

Does this sort them differently by name when you do this? Like if I have 3 roaches and rename 1, will my list only show 2 roaches together?

Well, I use the add on Pet Journal Enhanced... but when I sort alphabetically, it sorts them by original pet name, not the name I gave them. For instance, I have 3 Emperor Crabs, all have names, but when I sort alphabetically, they are listed by Emperor Crab and not by their names.
