Also, if you're looking to collect the Corgi Pup, the vendor has moved to Caverns of Time with all of the other festivities. New vendor, Historian Ma'di, same price.

I logged in, got the pet just fine but I can't battle with it. Any ideas why? Anyone?

There's currently a bug where the mount and pet become unusable after you log out. Blizzard's aware of it and are working on a fix.
