I used [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/humanoid/miscellaneous/anubisath-idol/]Anubisath Idol[/url](1 1 1), [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/humanoid/hoplings/hopling/]Hopling[/url](1 or 2, 2 1), and ofc the [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/flying/falcosaurs/direbeak-hatchling/]Direbeak Hatchling[/url], whose abilities don't matter because he won't actually be participating.
Firstly I would like to remind you all to keep your Direbeak summoned during the fight. He neither has to participate nor be first in your team setup for this quest but he must be summoned during the battle until completion. You can summon pets during battle too so if you remember at the last second, you don't have to give up and restart just to summon him. Now...
Start with Anub, and here is the general rotation I used:
-[url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/humanoid/reflection/]Deflection[/url] the first [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/undead/curse-of-doom/]Curse of Doom.[/url]
-[url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/flying/sandstorm/]Sandstorm[/url]
-[url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/humanoid/crush/]Crush[/url] until the book is about to use Doom again, at which point Deflection is up. Deflect Doom.
-Crush some more unless Sandstorm is up, then use that.
-Crush to win.
The rotation is pretty much the same with the spirit, except do not use Sandstorm again. Crush as applicable, use deflect to either block Doom cast or to block Doom damage (you can cast it on the last round of Doom and it will block the damage completely).
I use crush until one or the other dies and then the Hopling comes out.
I didn't end up using his DoT [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/elemental/poison-lash/](Poison Lash)[/url] but I did use [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/humanoid/backflip/]Backflip[/url] and then just [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/critter/tongue-lash/]Tongue Lash[/url] or Crush to victory. I used Tongue Lash just because I thought I might have needed it against the spirit if the Idol died but turned out fine for me.
