Brittle Webbing Counter

Is there any way to really shut this ability down long enough to kill the pet using it?
*Edit: I've already thought of dodge, burrow, blocks, and similar avoidance abilities. Like stoneskin does with stampede, anything that does the same to brittle webbing?

[ability]Consume Magic[/ability]? I haven't tried it, but it seems like it might work.

Best way to counter it, is still with a sandstorm - ofc it doesnt 100% negate the effect but it reduces it enough.

Generally speaking, you can just go with [ability]Stoneskin[/ability], [ability]Shell Armor[/ability], or such flat-value blocks to negate the damage.

You can also safely use defensive moves, non-damaging status attacks (like [ability]Stone Prison[/ability]) and delayed damage sources (like [ability]Doom[/ability] or [ability]Geyser[/ability]) without taking any immediate damage.

Conversely, DoTs, multi-hit attacks, or being affected by shreds such as [ability]Black Claw[/ability] is definitely deadly.

Other options are dispelling it (via [ability]Consume Magic[/ability], preferably) or going with [ability]Haunt[/ability], as being dead will negate its damage even though you have a DoT ticking - but bear in mind that this will freeze the duration on Brittle Webbing, so it'll be active when your pet comes back to life.

And cmon the 10% miss chance sandstorm brings is not as bad as its advantages are good.
