Druid Babies! Our Pets, Our Kids...

Post by Taleranor » January 13th, 2015, 4:31 am

So for a while now, I've been trying to put together a complete list of pets to represent my many druid children...
(It's a long story: the wife is a gnome mage, I'm a night elf druid, and so far, the kids all take after me because it's so hard to find a good gnome-like pet besides the winter helpers...)

So far, I have found the following to represent our many different shapes:

Moonkin - Moonkin Hatchling (easy and adorable!)
Feral Kitty - Winterspring Cub (other cats may suffice depending on personal preference)
Feral Bear - Dun Morogh Cub (Again, your mileage may vary)
Treant Form - Teldrassil Sproutling (or Withers)
Resto Incarnation of Life - Blossoming Ancient
Flight Form - Gilnean Raven (or Crow)
Stag Form - ? (Winter Reindeer? Fawn?
Cheetah Form - Cheetah Cub
Aquatic Form - ? (Sea Calf?)
Aquatic Form (Orca) - ?
Claws of Shirvallah Form - ???

So... am I missing any potential forms? Am I missing any obvious pets that could correspond to the various forms?
And is there a decent gnome that isn't a robot or a winter-specific pet?

Anyone else do stupid things like this?

I do it all the time with "Warlock" pets.

But I think think [pet]Ikky[/pet] or [pet]Kaliri Hatchling[/pet] would be better looking pets for flight form or swift flight form.

I think you've covered all the forms. Can't even imagine what would come close to matching Claws of Shirvallah Form though!

I used to do something similar when playing my hunter. She would have a pet plus a "pet in training" (battle pet). If I hadn't stopped playing my hunter, I probably would have continued hunting for pets and battle pets that match :)

[pet]Lil' Bad Wolf[/pet] is somewhat like Claws of Shirvallah.
Maybe [pet]Brilliant Kaliri[/pet] for swift fligt form?

For the Claws form, I considered wither Big Bad Wolf, or Wolvar Pup, but those are both wolves, not cats. :(

As for Ikki and Kaliri Hatchling.... hmmm, more kids?

Swift Flight Form is ofc [pet]Bat[/pet], [pet]Tirisfal Batling[/pet] or [pet]Vampiric Batling[/pet]....
Feral with Fandrel's staff: [pet]Cinder Kitten[/pet]

Someone should make an addon that summons a pet based on form AND RACE..

YES. Cinder Kitten! I even named my cinder kitten after one of my own cats. :)

And I named my Lesser Voidcaller after my warlock's Voidwalker... he upgraded to a Voidlord but he still misses the old blueberry.
