It's no secret that I love movies, but I'm also studying Sociology in College (WoW would make a great dissertation topic if I planned to go that far!) and I'm currently interning as a hospital advocate for survivors of violent crime. What do you do in real life?

IRL Im an Insurance Advisor that lives on a hobby farm with 21 miniature horses. Ive had horses all my life and have logged numerous hours raising, training and showing the little beasts. (If you knew the little gelding I was training ATM you'd understand why I say beasts O.o)

I also sketch animal portraits, mainly in pencil and love arts & crafts. Ive taken on a new hobbie of raising fish, which has been interesting. My mom would tell you that I have a bad habit of taking in stray cats as well. >.< Which I guess is true. Ive adopted many cats over the years that have either needed medical attention or just a loving home.

Guess thats me in a nut shell.

I'm a movie nut just like Doob, but other then that, I sing in my church choir and I'm studying to become a teacher. I love animals, well, furry animals, and I have a little chihuahua called Thor who takes up time as well.

Well, I used to unload trucks for wal-mart when I was living in Hattiesburg, MS but now I work part time at a Ross store (been looking for something else for a while now). My fiancee should graduate in may or summer and we're going to be moving to a state where medical pot is legal because of her anxiety issues and i've pretty much ran out of ideas to help her.
Anyways i'm a gamer nerd I love it all from WoW to D&D :P I used to have a $2000 MTG collection but sold it off =\

RMD,
California is the place for legal pot, but kind of expensive to live there. I develop websites and study marketing. :)

I work for a telecommunications company doing backoffice ticket work, and training new employees on various customer service functions.

At home I have a wife and two kids a 4 yr old girl and 7 mo old boy, their raising is pretty much my hobby other than occasionally finding time to dabble in warcraft now.

I don't watch TV except a few DVR'd shows, I mainly listen to either music or economic or theological lectures while I'm playing or doing other things with or for the kids. I've always loved learning, and staying informed on various topics keeps my brain working strong :)

I'm a warehouse manager for a floor covering distributor...most of my spare time is spent with my two boys (ages almost 3 and almost 7). In what other time I have left I enjoy playing WoW and Diablo, I've always loved rpg's and video games and for me WoW is the pinnacle. I'm very introverted and tend to live in my own little world, so Wow fits right in with my mindset as it's a little world of its own that I can enjoy myself in...I'm not on an RP server or anything like that, and I don't regularly RP in-game although I do like to play around once in awhile, most of the RP is in my own head while I quest and take in the lore of the game.

Other than that I like to play poker (even though I'm not very good at it...I have a group of buddies who get together bi-weekly for low-stakes poker, we keep stats all year and at the end of the year we hand out prizes for 1st to 3rd place (according to who won the most money that year), we also all pay a "cover" charge every game, and that money goes into a pot that we play tournament style for at the end of the year, how much you win depends on how you place...it works out nicely because then at least everyone gets a chance to win something (even the bad players like me). I also LOVE golfing, but again I'm not very good at it...of course I haven't done anything to improve my game since I started playing, I just like to get out on the course and whack the ball around...one of these days I'll work on my game, then I might actually be able to break 100 on a more regular basis (as opposed to the one time I've done it in my entire time golfing)...of course that will probably be when I get older. the master plan is to get my kids into golf so I have an excuse to get out to the course/range more often!

And of course, in between all of that stuff, i'm somewhat of a conspiracy theorist and proponent for marijuana legalization (I consider myself a "lifestyle" smoker)

That's me in a nutshell I guess.

IRL, I'm a drug dealer. Ok, a pharmacist, but I was at least able to sound all bad-ass for one sentence. I work in a hospital, and make IV's frequently. I'm also the hospital's pharmacy expert on pain management. That's been my area of research since I was on my rotations.

Hobby wise, the WOW TCG and too many others to list! It seems to rotate based on my mood.

Hah you say pretty much the same thing that I do when people ask me what I do for a living.
"I'm a legal drug dealer" "Excuse me? What sort of drugs are legal to deal?"

Anyways, I am a lab technician for a local compounding pharmacy. Compounding is where we take and make customized medications for patients. This allows us to give them their medication in dosages or forms that are more convenient for the patient. We also make a great deal of medications for animals as well.

Hobbies are WoW and volunteering at the local community clinic that serves the underprivileged in our community.

I work in a telecommunications company doing remote management of various mobile devices. I'm close to graduating Telecommunications Engineer.

Living in southern Brazil, in a state called "Rio Grande do Sul", in "Porto Alegre", which means in a literal translation, Happy Harbor.

I play WoW with my girlfriend, two sisters, two brothers-in-law and some RL friends, but we all have different interests within the game, being that I am the only collector of pets. My girlfriend collect mounts, what is great because when we do something together the division of the loot is already made.

I'm on vacation from college, so I'm taking the opportunity to catch as many pets as possible now that I have time!

In real life I collect Action Figures, mainly Marvel Universe and WoW.

That's all! ;D

Career-wise, I've been in the print/advertising industry since I was 17. Part graphic designer, part layout artist, part photoshop artist, part customer service (as of late). I'm currently in the Newspaper trade, soon to be made redundant along with my whole department (all work being outsourced to India due to low costs *sigh*) so I'm intending to go freelance as a photoshop retouch artist, which is my something I love doing.

I mostly play WoW with my boyfriend, who initially brought the game home so he had something to do when I had my nose buried in a book. Little did he know what he was starting! I also have a teenage daughter, named Storm (after the x-men character) who also plays a little WoW.

As far as hobbies go, I don't seem to have much time for them these days. :( I do love movies, mostly sci-fi, fantasy, horror stuff. I also go to a lot of cons (being on the wrong side of the world for San Diego Comic Con is killing me!) for getting box sets etc signed. I have a small (read: ran out of wall space) collection of replica movie weapons, I love books and simply can't be without one, also love gardening and anything to do with boats/the water - I live next to a river and going rowing is probably one of the most relaxing things to do, ever. I have a social anxiety issue called AvPD so WoW is pretty much perfect for me. Besides that, I'm incredibly happy with my own company so give me a boat or a book and I'm good to go!

Though this is an older thread I figured I would put my 2 cents in since I'm new here. I have been a police officer for 23 years...2 years to retirement woohoo !! I have done contract investigative work on the side. I love History and reading and an avid collector of all things civil war related. I do some writing and hope to pursue that more seriously when I retire. I love fantasy movies like Harry Potter, Twight, Star Trak, ..ya ya I know, but its probably related to my need for escape from RL due to the issues I deal w/ at work. I have 2 dogs Hermione and Simba...Ya I loved the Lion King, and though he's not a cat he's a big wuss:)). I love cooking, most of us southern gals do and are very good at it :D I'm active on ebay buying and selling just about anything. I started a group called " Operation Teddy Bear" where we collect stuff animals for kids who have been injured and abused both mentally and physically and are temporarily separated from their families as well as a major advocate against bullying in my community.
My son, who is grown got me hooked on WOW then he moved on to Diablo I haven't for given him yet for that  I managed to even get some of the guys at worked hooked...until they got caught playing at work while on desk duty ( you can't fix stupid ). Being from Lousyanna I constantly have to fight against the backwoods, redneck, good ole boys system at work so by the time I have a day off I really need to kill something or somebody and wow allows that opportunity in a fun environment...which is one of the reasons I have no issues w/ kids playing games like WOW perhaps it can serve as an outlet verse acting out behavior that would normally result in violence...at least that's been my experience. The only issue is my babies ( Hermione and Simba ) tend to feel neglected when I get in gaming mode lol !!

I'm basically unemployed. I mean, I do freelance web and graphic design work, but nothing I would call a career.

As far as hobbies outside of WoW go, I do graffiti (legally, thankyou) and am building up a collection of vinyl records (when I buy music these days, it's pretty much vinyl or nothin'.)

I'm a bartender, looking to transition out of the bar within the next two years or so. My boyfriend and I took the state's real estate class about a year & a half ago. Unfortunately he passed away from a massive heart attack a little over a year ago so I've not done anything more about getting my license. WoW has been my escape from grief. Feeling 'settled' enough to start pursuing that angle as well as a class for something I want to do as a home-based business in the next few months. I'm also an avid reader, cat-mom, and sports fan.

There is a "real life" outside of WoW and pets? Burn the deceiver! JK :P

I am a full time Bachelor's degree student pursuing my degree in Psychology-Humane Services w/ a focus in Child Development. I currently work full-time for the local Child Protective Services chapter and am participating in a part-time work study program to gain experience and practical skills in the Social Services / Social Work fields which cannot be learned in a classroom or from a book. In my downtime I help to take care of my parents when needed, I love to cook, and have a serious passion for the crafting arts and handmade goods. I crochet and knit, make jewelry such as earrings, necklaces, and shamballa style bracelets with meaningful stones, and create small polymer clay sculptures and journal/sketchbook covers. I also like to practice wood sculpture via the LuRon method. Sometimes I wind up combining all of these together in some sort of mixed media festival!

My most recent completed project was a crochet dear head (complete with crochet antlers!) in varying cheerful stripped colors, attached to an old mirror base I found at a thrift store. This cottony-stuffed wonder is hanging on my wall currently! My most favorite and by-far simplest project though several years ago was crocheting a tiny Hearthstone, which I fastened to a key chain that carries my house keys. :P

When I'm not doing any of that, I am of course playing WoW, or being pestered to death by my loving kitty Medelina.

I think that about covers it!
